Rigaan Resto bar — Restaurant in Karnataka

The experience with Rigan Resto Bar has been worst to me . On 5th Feb 22 night 11pm I went to Rigan for dinner. The horrible story starts from there.

I was accommodated at the roof after but of hesitation over timing or food . Then it was said food will be served . Immediately I sat waiters came to me denying the service that we can’t do. I told them I discussed at downstairs and I came up. Waiter started making crying face that I want to eat food I am working here 12 hrs I want to go home. After I said pls speak to ur management he said I can’t call MD right now he lives in city so I can’t serve. After sometimes he went down discussed with someone and gave me menu and immediately lights were turned off. I was made to make order in phone torch light. Finally food arrived and then he said sorry sir I forgot your one of the dish and now I can’t serve it . Then while in between I was still eating he came with bill forcing me to pay the bill.

That’s where I really felt it’s above head and I immediately shouted on them paid the bill left the food on table and walked off.

They were so shameless they didn’t bothered to give back...

Very unprofessional, slow and faulty service. The welcoming done by the hostess by the entrance was very satisfactory, very direct attacking questions were asked. A room under the tree was proposed, the cigarette butts from previous guests was still found under the table. Order was taken by Mr.Idris, who unfortunately had no menu knowledge. Items ordered were not correctly entered in the KOT. The ordered pesto pasta was asked to not include green capsicums and the grilled chicken with pepper sauce was ordered with mashed potatoes. The soup was served without a saucer. The food arrived 30-35 minutes after the soup. The first pasta that came to the table was white sauced and it was replaced. The grilled chicken came with bread and garlic sauce. Waiter admitted to order taking fault and the order was replaced after 10 minutes. The replaced portion was just garnished with pepper sauce and accompanied with mashed potatoes, the mixture of garlic and pepper sauce was below satisfactory. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant if severe training...

What a terrible place rigan is. The fact that it was empty at 1 pm should have been a red flag but a friend said it was good. We're not friends anymore. The food is below mediocre, the service is insipid . If your hungry, this is not where you should be eating . Especially when you have better options 100 mts of this place. We ordered mutton kheema ghotala, tandoori roti, and a hyderabadi biryani. The kheema ghotala was more onion gravy than kheema. The tandoori roti was OK The hyderabadi biryani was likely pan biryani and not hyderabadi. The mutton pieces were terrible . All bone. Think Kaal soup pieces but now imagine only bone. Terrible. What a rip off! Finally, we asked for onions ,got exactly 3 pieces and was charged 30 bucks for the trouble. Finally, they charge a 10% service fee. For this?? I could've contested the charge but this was to go to the staff and I didn't want to grudge them this amount. But truly, there's absolutely no reason one has to go to Rigan.
