Shri Renuukamba Thatte Idli — Restaurant in Karnataka

Based on lot of google review we visited this place we got confused since their are two Hotels in same name however we finally landed in right one

We ordered idly vada :4star khali dosa: 4star Masala Dosa: 2star Chitranna :2star Coffee :1star

We went with great expectations looks like they had external order hence they hardly paid attention for walk in clients

Service took longer while they were slow and working in their own pace chitraanna or lemon rice had nothing in it and coffee was just a hot water with coffee powder

Cleanliness and Hygiene if you are looking their is nothing that they know about it they had placed chutney buckets on each table their was lot of fly 🪰 which was tasting and taking dip in the chutney we let the hotel ppl know about it and also of the taste of food they agreed since they had bulk order taste and service had lowered but they were not concerned on it may be they know that it’s all pitstop client who come in and not the regular client who may be hygiene and quality is not their concern

While coming to prices it’s too much over hyped and priced infact more than any dharashini in Banaglore which as good facilities and ambience

Over try once for experience but pay...

Bidadi is a industrial town at Bangalore-Mysore route. Naturally, it fits as a breakfast spot for travelers leaving to Mysore from Bangalore. I however, planned a weekend trip to Bidadi just to experience the famous thatte idli. Tried Thatte idli with benne(butter) and vada- it was soft, tasty and very filling, chutney was bit on spicy side. Vada was crispy and soft on inside. This for sure will be the dish I recommend. Ordered plain dosa, was crisp and could be tried. lemon rice, Coffee was below mediocre and not recommended. Place is easy to find, parking was available and restaurant staff assisted finding a spot. Place was crowded, but they have many tables. You can find a place first for yourself and then order, payment is done post breakfast. Service is slow, but that's understandably due to crowd. Washroom/ toilets are available but fall short on cleaning. Pricing is reasonable. All in all, it's a good breakfast spot if you are traveling...

We came here around 9.30 am on saturday to try famous bidadi tatte idli.

Parking was really a problem here with very limited space and no parking near the main road area.

We ordered 3 plates of tatte idli. 1-double idli and vada , 2-single idli and vada, 3- 2 idlis only.

Chutney was salty and spicy. Could have been better. But idlis very piping hot and super soft. Vada was crispy and delicious. Sagu served with poori was better than their chutney. And idlis were served with a dollop of butter on it. We also ordered 2 coffees which was served in a small cup.

Total bill was 230₹ for all together and we finished eating quickly as the service was quick and there was no much hassle to get a table even though there was trouble to park the vehicle.

Washroom could have been better as many people stop by on the way to mysore from bangalore.

They also had poori, dosa, some rice items like puliogre and chitranna.
