This hotel in Chitradurga that has been around for many years. The standout feature of this place is undoubtedly the taste and quality of the food. I had the Idly and Set Dosa, and both were delicious and lived up to their reputation. The flavors are consistently good, reflecting the hotel’s long-standing culinary tradition.

However, the hotel's ambience and interior are where it falls short. Despite its rich history, the decor and overall atmosphere seem outdated and somewhat neglected. The furnishings and interiors haven't seen any significant updates or improvements over the years. This lack of maintenance extends to cleanliness as well; the environment feels a bit unhygienic and not as inviting as one might hope.

While the food here is highly recommended for its excellent taste, it's important to manage expectations regarding the overall experience. If you’re solely focused on enjoying some good traditional food, this hotel is a worthwhile stop. However, if you’re seeking a modern, clean, and comfortable setting, you might be disappointed. The management could benefit from investing in updating the premises and enhancing hygiene standards to complement the excellent food. Sri Lakshmi Bhavan Tiffen Room also known as LTR, it's famous for Khali and masala dosa, now the taste of the dosa has reduced and the cost of the dosa has increased. As it's close to Fort area many travellers visiting this hotel for breakfast and if you are visiting first time u will definitely say what a taste, locals only knows the real taste of LTR. I use to go this place whenever I go chitradurga but I almost stopped. Ghee for all dosa and aloo palya for Khali dosa provides with additional cost No restrooms available As here you get oily food Don't expect for tissue paper (if u ask they will give piece of news paper) Don't even get pure hand wash only cash is acceptable Bit dirty hotel Rice items (like chitranna, pulav or meals) is not available Tuesday Holiday Totally not worth for money only the taste is bit ok apart from this not at all...

Very Nice hotel at chitradurga ( only veg ) pls ask for extra palya and thuppa which ll extends the taste of their recipe.

Delicious and mouthwatering Masala dosa and Khali Dosa. Must visit when in chitradurga. Its on the way to chitradurga fort couple of KM before the fort. Wow it’s a awesome breakfast point in Chitradurga. If you guys go on weekend and in first floor it’s crowded then please go to ground floor so it’s a self service and we get our food soon.. in 1st floor it will take more than half a hrs…

The food is too good here. We had idli, vada and khali dosas and all were too good. The highlight here are the dosas, they are simply mouth watering delights :)
