I recently ordered 15 plates (boxes) of Gobi Manchurian from Blake and Flake Shimoga for my son's birthday party, and I must say it was a delightful experience. We requested that the Gobi be prepared with less spice to cater to the kids' preferences, and the restaurant not only accepted our request but also delivered beyond our expectations.
The Gobi Manchurian was not only less spicy but also incredibly tasty and fresh. It was evident that they paid attention to the details and ensured that the dish met our specifications. The result was a crowd-pleaser at the birthday party, with both kids and adults thoroughly enjoying it. In fact, some kids even asked for seconds, which is a testament to how much they loved it.
I also want to commend the restaurant for their excellent packaging. The food arrived in perfect condition, and the packaging was not only sturdy but also aesthetically pleasing.
Overall, Blake and Flake Shimoga's Gobi Manchurian made my son's birthday party a resounding success. Their willingness to accommodate our requests, the deliciousness of the dish, and the quality of their packaging all contribute to a highly positive dining experience and they also asked for the feedback after the delivery of the food and asked for any suggestions for improvement which is really appreciated.
I would definitely recommend them for any special occasion or when you're simply craving...
Read moreI ordered from Bake N Flakes and had one of the worst food experiences. The burger was just okay, but the grilled corn cheese sandwich was the worst I’ve ever had. To make things worse, the mocktail was so bad I couldn’t even finish it.
The prices here are ridiculously high compared to the quality. I paid ₹479 for food that wasn’t even worth ₹150. Instead of improving, they seem to rely on fake positive reviews to attract customers.
Dear Bake N Flakes, please learn how to make a proper sandwich without stuffing a burger patty into it. Even small cafés in Bangalore serve far better food at a much lower cost.
You call this place a café, but it doesn’t even come close to the real meaning of one. Until you learn the value of money and how to serve edible food, I honestly wish you stop calling yourself a bakery (which you call as café.)
Overall: Extremely disappointing. Would...
Read moreThe place looks like a local bakery store, more than the cafe(it is considered as a cafe). The ambience is terrible with no proper lighting and a very dull environment specially durning the lunch time. They have cakes and some bun variants which are decent. The service takes a lot of time. But then apart from this some staff are really friendly and accommodating as well. The food was actually very good and fresh. But some stuff is served in a disposable plates which make it look cheap though the prices are not. The worst part was the menu card which was torn apart and some food stains as well. I don’t know how a cafe could give such good food and mess up with the basic fundamentals. I hope they set their space properly to...
