AASIFE BIRIYANI (KARUR) — Restaurant in Karur

I recently tried the Chicken Biryani and "Tandoori" Chicken at Aasif Briyani in Karur. The biryani was quite average — nothing special in terms of flavor or aroma. The tandoori chicken was disappointing; it wasn’t authentic tandoori but seemed like grilled chicken that was later fried. It was oily and half-cooked. Other outlets provide sidish of bread halwa in this place not proo.

The place does offer parking, but it's open-air with no roof, so not ideal in bad weather. On the plus side, the entrance is wheelchair accessible, which is a good touch. The ambiance is decent — I'd rate it 3 out of 5.

highly disappointed. The mughal biriyani looked like fried rice tasted even worse. Almost same bad experience with other menus. When complained there was no proper response. Tried to cover with the story "usual Chef is not available, last portion of biriyani" etc, etc. From past reviews I understood this is the same story line whenever a customer complaints. From a friend I heard, the coimbatore branch is little better with taste, not sure though, never tried anywhere else, this is first...
