Chef's Corner — Restaurant in Karur

We visited Chef’s Corner with our family and had a great time. The service was very good — friendly, accommodating, and attentive. We tried the Hot & Sour Chicken Soup, Hot & Sour Vegetable Soup, and Kozhi Rasam. While the chicken soup and rasam were tasty, the vegetable soup wasn’t as good as the others.

For mains, the Fish Tikka and Hotspot Paneer were excellent, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Mutton Kotthu was simply awesome — a must-try dish! The shrimp gravy, however, didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Spicy Chicken Wings (7/10)- chicken was well marinated juicy & tender. The outer layer was crispy and spicy. But inside the chicken it was very subtle.

Mutton Kothu Curry (8/10)- Mutton was well cooked. I'll name this dish as sukka kothu kari. Good Portion of mutton.

Mutton Biriyani (9/10)-Briyani made with seeraga samba rice. Briyani was rich in taste. The spice level was well balanced.

Appla pie with ice cream - Lots of nut in the pie🥧. The pie was so fresh and hot. Eating alongside ice cream enriches the taste...

The ambience is very nice, the food and quality feels very posh, the taste is not that great, but decent. The chicken tikka felt a bit rubbery and hard. Other dishes were fine. The price for the hotel like this is reasonable and also understandable. They have good parking for visitors, availability is based..... Beverages and desserts are really good!!! Overall you can have a great time plan for birthdays and anniversaries. Not sure if any other place has an ambience as peaceful and nice...
