3rd Rock Brasserie & Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

After going through all reviews and ratings we went there for dinner. Two brothers run the restaurant & they are very polite.

I find the food & drinks price a little higher for no reason . The restaurant doesn't have any ambience , just a simple building . Only thing it's located in front of the ocean. They have little sitting capacity inside but from there you can't see the ocean . You need to sit outside to see the ocean & It is only possible if the weather is good/ no rain. Outside they just put a couple of plastic chairs , a table with an ordinary table cloth and a lantern on the table , to create an ambience also it's very much needed for dinner.

Food - we ordered fish wrap in banana leaf which was really tasty and the portion was also good. Chicken fry , didn't like it as some portions weren't tender properly

Drinks - They don't have liquor licence so they sell discreetly. However the price was like any upmarket pub. We ordered two Kingfisher strong ( 750ml) , as this was the only option available in beer and it was priced rs. 350/- each bottle.

So together the bill was rs 2040/- which I feel really expensive for a simple eatery . At this price you will get better beach...

This Cafe is placed in a position that the view, the ambience and the whole feel of it gives you a perfect getaway form the city rush. The evening and night vibe would be the best. To just chill alone with an amazing view of the sea or, to have deep conversations with your firends, even a simple date night , This is a beautiful location for it.

The services and food were good as well. The poeple who run the place are more than welcoming, They give you a very friendly vibe and are very prompt in their services. Extremely helpful, as I saw them help out a guest who lost their hotel key near the beach, the night I was dining there. They were not even guests at the cafe. They serve the food fast with a variety of simple items. These days many cafes have a menu that can be over whelming. Even if you get overwhelmed, you can ask the staff there to help you out. They could suggest what's best for the evening if you feel indecisive.

This is for sure of the beaten path. If you are looking for a nice quiet place by the beach side. A view of the Leela hotel, looking at the sun set. This is the place for you. The hospitality is better that any 5 * resturant. 2 brothers who happen to be twins will send your taste buds on a journey through Kerala. The food is sinfully amazing.
