I was happy with the attitude of the Staff Mr.Manoj.||But, if you want a star category accommodation, this place is not for you.||||It is situated right at the "edge" of the Samudra beach.||But, the beach is a Rocky beach. So, we can't wet your feet in the waves.||||Most of the highest star rated hotels are situated in this area. But, the place is not clean. So, it is not pleasant to roam around.||A lot of hotels are situated very near to the Kovalam beach, which is a sandy beach. If you want to feel that waves, choose that area.||||This hotels pros are ||1.Not a cramped room ||2. Very near to the sea ||3. Friendly Staff.||||Cons are ||1.Though they are trying to maintain it cleanly, it is not maintained professionally. ||2. No hot water available. ||3. At the time of our visit, Satellite TV wasn't working. ||4. Intercom wasn't working. ||5. The hotel has neither restaurant nor room service. They provided breakfast, procured from outside vendors. It has no choice.(First day, they provided 3 dosais with sambhar, without any chytneys.) ||6. The room has a sea view balcony. But, it's very narrow and hence not comfortable to use.||What I made to offer 2 stars, apart from all these shortcomings, is the very low price I paid.||||In India, there is no institutionalised mechanism to define the star rating. So, hotels are using star rating on their own. This property doesn't have any star category amenities and deserves no star rating.||||Another issue with this area is, local cab operators are not allowing, Ola like services for pick-up. So, we need to depend the hotel administration for cab. Here, they were unable to get any such service. So, I got a cab by googling, with name Pavi Travels (Mobile No.09446826872). They are very much friendly and charged nominally.||||Finally, I surely recommend this property for those who seek some budget accommodation near the sea. We had a very pleasant stay at Itsy By Treebo - The Waters Edge Beach Resort, Kovalam. We were lucky to get the sea view balcony attached with our room. The sea view was awesome. All staff were polite and cooperative. Size of the room was decent and good. Room had all the required amenities. Closets were huge with so much space and lots of cloth hangers. The only thing was I had to ask for additional floor mats as there was only one floormat at bathroom door. We needed one floormat for bed. Rest everything was good. The beach was just outside the hotel. We were able to just come out of the hotel and spend time at the beach.||||Although, hotel’s restaurant was closed but there was another beach restaurant open just by the side of the hotel where we had lunch. ||||The best part was that we asked for a late check-out, which they provided at not...
