Al Khair Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

POSITIVES: Good location; along the bypass. Good seating capacity. Food tastes okay. Parking is available in front yard. There is a separate tea and juice counter outside the main restaurant.

NEGATIVES: Unclean- The walls have dampness patches. The wash basin area looks a bit dingy. Waste bins were about to overflow with used tissue paper even when we went in the morning for breakfast (which probably means they haven't cleared out last days trash). There was even a stray cat roaming inside the dining area. Once when I went for lunch, there was an electrician or someone doing repair work on the ceiling of the dining area when people were having food.

Understaffed- Whenever I went I have had to wait for some time and then call a waiter to get the order taken.

If you have tea/ juice from the outside counter, you can't pay there but have to go inside the main restaurant and pay at the cash...

So pethatic service and don't know what to do why to do where to do for whom to do, We feel that food is good to have dining over there but if we take it as takeaway definitely this Team will have lot's of surprise with filled with excuses and also Garnish with rude phone talks then they provide us a free tuition about what they think and what they thought etc a fullpack comedy movie experience for takeaway customers....Anyway keep going Keep Growing Now a days in kerala the service sectors are so pethatic and rude behavior service without a beautiful smile.... Easy to spot. ... Not too big but enough Parking space... Guards present to help you with parking. Ambience just ok... Nothing extraordinary... Just a normal family place... AC section was not very impressive .. it was a lil smelly and conjusted..so decided to sit in the normal open area... If you are not used to the humid Calicut climate, having a lunch without AC maynot be a very pleasant experience... Food qualities and quantity was good... But tatse wise again nothing very special... Staff are friendly and welcoming . Not very expensive neither very economical... Overall... A place to have lunch/ dinner with family if you are...
