This is by no means luxurious but instead a local hidden marvel. 'Baby', a former fishing boat captain, is the owner of this restaurant and makes sure all meals are ship shape for the pallets of landlubbers. Fish/Seafood caught daily and served up in moderate portions. Fish curry was my favourite, although I must say that the briyani was yummy too.
Price for a good meal for two with drinks and ice cream was still under Rs1000 (ยฃ10) We went to the more up-market Liliput and Waves paying tree times that price and was disappointed in both the service and quality of food.
If you are looking for luxury, then perhaps skip 'Baby Chettans'. However, if you like an experience and good tasting food served by the owner, then I recommend this place 100%.
