Broaster King Bistro — Restaurant in Kerala

I had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. It took 56 minutes — nearly an hour — just to get a simple takeaway order of chicken pops and 2 pieces of broasted chicken. Despite repeated requests to cancel the order due to the delay, the staff kept stringing us along with “5 minutes” or “2 minutes,” right until the end. This, while there were only a handful of customers in the restaurant.

What made the situation worse was the blatantly rude and cheap behavior of the staff, simply because we spoke Tamil. There was absolutely no sense of professionalism or accountability — just a bunch of irresponsible people running the floor without coordination. They didn’t even provide a sales receipt.

After the long wait, we were handed the package without so much as a simple apology. The way we were treated — like beggars waiting at the door — was disgusting. Frustrated and humiliated, we ended up throwing the package back in front of everyone, with another customer witnessing the whole scene. A special thanks to a kind Malayali gentleman with his family who stepped in to support us during that awful moment.

To those who don’t speak their language — think twice before visiting if you value self-respect.

They Forgot to Even Place My Order

My husband, our three children, and I have visited this place occasionally. It used to be good, but it seems the management has changed—and not for the better.

Last time we came in craving some fried chicken, but left completely disappointed. After waiting nearly 40 minutes, I asked about our food, only to be told they forgot to give our order to the chef. Seriously?

With hungry kids and no explanation or apology, it was beyond frustrating. We left immediately.

No wonder no I see an empty space like this all the time,. pathetic experience The fried chicken was very dry.never in my life I have tasted such a kind of bland fried chicken. The chicken wrap was cold,and the filling was chopped fried chicken, cabbage,tomato,and cucumber.the raw taste of cabbage was hitting. .Badly kept untidy place with closed space and no A/C, housefly was all around the place.
