Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Kerala

I have always considered Cafe Coffee Day a go-to place for a relaxing coffee experience, a comfortable environment, and a space to get some work done. However, my visit today to the angamaly kochi highway(PONGAM) outlet was quite disappointing. The Wi-Fi was unavailable,( when asked they were like it’s not working and ac under repair ) and the air conditioning was out of order, making it difficult to sit and work.

Despite all this, even though the cafe is empty, after few hours the staff approached me and asked me to order if i want to sit more ( like ,this is new rules itseems ) .. i would have appreciated if the cafe was busy or someone is waiting for my chair .. but this is very disappointing .. i ended up paying for one more item ..

As a loyal customer, I expect a certain level of service, especially when paying a premium price for the experience. Instead, I found myself sitting in discomfort, unable to even use the internet. It felt like I had paid not for an experience, but just for a cup of coffee—something I could have easily gotten elsewhere.

I have attached the bills of both the items and the cafe ..

Cafe Coffee Day has built its reputation as a space for people to unwind, work, and have conversations over coffee. But if basic facilities like Wi-Fi and air conditioning are not maintained, it takes away the very essence of what makes CCD special. I hope this is addressed soon, as such issues can push loyal customers to look for better alternatives.

Extremely Poor Service – No AC for Over a Month.

I have been a regular visitor to Cafe Coffee Day in Pongam for the past month, and I am extremely disappointed with the management's complete neglect of customer comfort.

Despite multiple complaints from customers, the air conditioning has not been working for over a month! When I asked the staff, they openly admitted that the main branch instructed the manager to replace the AC, yet the manager refuses to take action.

It's scorching hot outside, and people come in expecting a comfortable, air-conditioned space, but the reality is worse than outside. The café is humid, suffocating, and completely uncomfortable—hardly the experience you'd expect when paying premium prices for coffee and snacks.

This is completely unacceptable from a brand like Cafe Coffee Day. If customers are paying high prices, we at least deserve a comfortable atmosphere.

I strongly urge the higher management to step in immediately and ensure the AC is replaced. Ignoring this will only push customers away, as no one wants to sit in a café where they are sweating while drinking coffee.

Until this issue is resolved, I do not recommend visiting this outlet unless you’re okay with an unbearable, humid experience....

This is an EXTREMELY TERRIBLE Coffee Day location I have been to in India and Abroad solely because of the staff there. They are very rude and unprofessional. A Particular Tamil Employee is the worst one(sry don't know the name).

You will definitely see their terrible attitude especially if you are a frequent visitor.

Their Power Ports/Charging ports are broken.

They will literally Turn Off their Wifi and deny service if you spend some time there, and if asked they will tell you that it's a network issue. They use this tactics to have the purchased Customers exit the store. How do I know? Happened to me multiple times, and I am a technology professional. No I'm not talking about Data. Their entire Router gets turned off when the restaurant has Power.

A Particular Tamil Employee is the worst one(sry don't know the name). He usually works in the afternoon and evening shifts. He literally comes to you and asks you to re-order if you want to sit there for more than 30mins.

How can Coffee Day insult customers like this when they have your coffee and snacks paying 10 times more than regular? Is this your Customer Service??

The only good thing about this restaurant is its location. OVERALL, Extremely BAD...
