I had visited the place a couple of months before. I had a wonderful experience; based on that, I visited the place yesterday with family. The food was good. The service boys (non Malayali boys; speaking Malayalam very nicely.) were marvellous in their job. I would given a 5 star rating if I didn’t bought a 7up from the reception/billing counter area. I had taken a 7up and given ₹100. The service boy who served us suddenly came and took cash from me & printed the bill. A Boss wearing 🧢 with attitude like the world’s most powerful person is sitting in the counter. He’s in a phone call so the service boy told to wait. I had waited more than 20 minutes there. His phone call is ended within a minute. He’s not even looking at the customer standing infront of him. He is telling to the service boy that he had given the change to some other staff & I should wait there until their staff come back with that money. After that he need to see the currency note I have given so that he can give the change. When we get these kind of behaviour from these kind of As Hles, we really didn’t feel to visit such places again. The management should give some training to the staff like this if you are really interested in getting business. Anyway no more coming back. People reading this review, be ready to meet these kind of people there if you...
Read moreI tried their Chicken Dum Biryani—and honestly, it was a game-changer. After trying biriyani from so many places where the flavors felt repetitive or dull, this one truly stood out. The aroma hit as soon as the plate arrived, and the first bite felt like it woke up all my taste buds. Every spoonful was packed with layered spices, tender chicken, and perfectly cooked rice.
The balance of heat, aroma, and richness was spot on—nothing overpowering, just pure flavor. If you’re someone who loves biriyani but has been disappointed by bland versions elsewhere, Casa Rasa will bring your love for it back to life.
The restaurant also offers a pleasant, modern ambiance with a clean and comfortable setting. Service was decent during my visit, and the staff were polite. While I haven’t tried their full menu yet, this experience alone makes me want to go back for more.
Highly recommended if you're in Taliparamba and looking for a biriyani that actually...
Read moretried their Mandi . The chicken was cooked well and tasted good, but I felt the rice lacked the authentic Mandi flavor, so overall, the dish didn’t quite meet my expectations.
On the positive side, the customer service was excellent . The staff were welcoming and attentive—I even got some extra mayo without having to ask, which was a nice touch.
The ambience was pleasant and comfortable. However, if you’d like to enjoy the best view, I would recommend reserving a table in advance, as only one table offers an outdoor view.
Overall, Casa Rada was a good experience great service, decent food, and nice ambience, though the flavors of the Mandi rice could definitely...
