This restaurant is the nearest one near the dam . Its a simple restaurant serving keralite food . it has decent space to sit and park your vehicle . when we went inside almost every one in the hotel were eating chicken biryani (very normal in kerala ). i had kerala veg meals and omlette which was decent . Price is extremely moderate and food is very well value for money , you will like if you are from kerala , i liked it . The hotel staff will wave the board and ask all people to enter and they say the have kannada food considering many people from karnataka coming here but i dont think they serve any kannada specific dish . Dam view resturant is nearest restaurant to banasaura dam, that's reason take advantage of, food is not at all good, they show you nice pictures of fish with price and later serve you some other fish and cheat on price saying it's per fish price , while initially they say price per plate. We were told Rs 120 per plate for fish later charged Rs 480 . I recommend you to have food other restaurants before reaching the Banasaura dam. I would have given zero start if it was there in Google reviews.

The location of this restaurant is just perfect. After visiting the dam and while coming to the parking lot, you will see this restaurant. There is a Wayanad horticulture exhibition center beside this where you can find lot of local produce which you can buy at reasonable price. After sight seeing and shopping, this is like heaven to satiate the fire in your belly. Good meal options available. Juices are fresh. Ice cream parlour gives some good dessert option after food. All in all good and only place to find food after Banasura...
