Very very bad behavior from billing staff. For tea time i had a single piece chicken cutlet one ada and a tea.. Took 2 tea in my flask for my father admitted in the hospital.. I took a roasted cashew packet also. They gave bill for other items except cashew. Told to pay 217 rs including cashew price... Thank God i paid in Google pay.. For dinner when i went there,the billing staff accused me that i didn't pay the bill of cashew.He started shouting infront of others that i took the cashew with out paying bill. I told them to check the bills which they r having and showed my Google pay receipt also. But he was not admitting anything.. I paid them again 140rs.. But felt too bad..i am working as a doctor in govt sector in same area. He humiliated me infront of my patient who came there for having food.. I was not executively dressed as my father is in hospital..not having professional look....That doesn't mean i am poor to stole things... It was very easy for them to check since they are having computerized bill. But he didn't do that.. It was their duty to check priorly the bills even when i told them the time in bill...

This is located with the compound of a hospital, is easily accessible and there is a separate parking space for the Coffee house customers towards the left of the building. So we don't have to park our vehicles where the hospital parking is. The area is considerably small, good enough to host around 30-35 people mostly. We went around the end of lunch hours and so the meals was over. The rush was clearly visible inside as the tables were all swept up hurriedly and perhaps needed time for better cleaning. So I wasn't very happy with the neatness of the place. But the food was good. We ordered our favourites which their famous cutlet noted for its beetroot filling and beetroot based sauce. My parent paired it with their well known coffee and I chose my favourite beverage among their array, the ginger lime. And it hasn't changed over the years. Still refreshing and filling. We weren't very hungry and was content with just those. But they had different kinds of dosas and biriyanis along with porotta and...

A reasonably priced restaurant conveniently located near the Indian Oil Petrol Bunk on the Alleppey Ernakulam Highway. Limited Parking available in front of the restaurant.

Indian Coffee House or ICH is part of the socio politocal history of Kerala. Its a co-operative society founded many decades ago.

Famous for Masala Dosa, Ghee Roast Dosa, Puri, Veg and Meat Cutlets. Virtually the only eatery where beetroot makes its way into the masala and the cutlets. Love it or hate it, you cant ignore it!

No meal is complete without a coffe for the adults and a Lime Juice for the kids. Rose Milk and Cold Coffe were nostalgic favourites but they may be discontinued now.
