Indian Coffee House — Restaurant in Kerala

We were on a tour with friends & family, and chanced upon this restaurant ... We were famished and people from the group said they've been to other outlets of the place ... I've heard about this organisation, their policies , and now the live reviews, so automatically entered the place with basic expectations ...

service - the service didn't seem really bad but when queried about the food being cold and dry nothing was done , they only replied that was because the food was prepared long ago .They were in a rush though it didn't seem like a busy hour .

food - forget average , it was pathetic ... The chappathis we ordered were literally thin cardboards, the curries were all cold and tasted nothing like they should have , the Dosai was cold as well . Even if the food was prepared long ago , we expected to get the food warmed up before service...

Ambience - The ambience didn't hit it , but again it was manageable , and the place seemed fairly clean.

On the finishing note , this has to be the last time I wouldve ever visited...

Worst service. Don't visit this coffee house ever. We ordered 3 coffee, 2 chicken cutlets and 1 veg cutlet. After sometime the bearer bought 3 cutlets filled with mashed potatoes. No chicken or vegetables is filled inside the cutlets. Also they poured some beetroot juice and some sliced onions. All these items were not at all tasty. No salt. Nothing. Then he bought the coffees we ordered and when we tasted came to know that it is tea. We asked about this to the bearer and he told it was a mistake. The tea is also not good. It doesn't felt like a tea. No tea powder, no sugar nothing. Finally we thought it is better to leave the place rather having this worst food and service. We paid 96rs for this food. We complained this to the manager/cashier and he also didn't say anything. The staff are not trained how to place order and how to behave to...

A very qualitative and nice eatery at Venjaramoodu. Has a wide variety of food items. The main advantage is that the food is of very good quality and taste. Also its price is nominal and reasonable.

Porotta is of nice quality, but compared to other coffee houses, it tastes a little ordinary.

Beef / Pothu fry is very yummy and soft and well cooked. It has a nice flavour of roasted onion and masalas.

Coffee and tea is of good quality.

Bombay Toast is very good. Nice toasted bread coated with egg, sugar and vanila essence.

Chicken cutlet is also nice. Only made when order is made. Served hot and fresh.

Ghee Masala Dosa is rich with ghee.

The service is very good. They are ready to tell us the items and describe if we have any doubt.

The atmosphere won't be that good. Because it is always busy.
