It is with great concern and disappointment that I write this negative, critical, and cautionary review about Kathi Roll in Kottayam Varisseri. I strongly advise people to avoid this establishment, as it is a total scam and poses a serious health risk.

Firstly, the meat in the rolls at Kathi Roll is not real meat. The rolls are filled with a soya and flour mixed meat substitute that lacks taste and nutritional value. The use of this fake meat is misleading and unacceptable, as it deceives customers and poses a potential health risk.

The hygiene and sanitation standards at Kathi Roll are also extremely poor, with the establishment being unclean and unsanitary. The rolls are prepared and served in unhygienic conditions, and the utensils and equipment used appear to be poorly washed. The restaurant has a strong and rotten smell, indicating that the food may be stale or contaminated.

The service at Kathi Roll is also subpar, with the staff being unprofessional and untrained. The customers are not attended to properly, and the staff members appear to be disinterested in serving them.

Overall, I strongly advise people to avoid Kathi Roll in Kottayam Varisseri. The use of fake meat, poor hygiene and sanitation standards, and unprofessional service make it a highly undesirable and dangerous place to eat.

Stopped by to try this after seeing Ebbin Jose’s review. We got the beef and chicken varieties of the rolls. There are lots of options to double up some combination of ingredients for the roll. The rolls were fantastic. The beef and chicken were tender when a slight sweetness from the onions and peppers. The bread was soft, layered, and buttery. These were so good, we wanted to share the love and got 4 more to go. The couple that runs the place is super friendly and great to talk to. Definitely worth a repeat visit! I'm giving 4 star for the food because, food is tasty but, the fills in that keeping under the table (only onion, chilli, mayonnaise and ketchup is keeping on the table). So there is a chance that the dust under the table is likely to fall on the food .
