If you're in search of authentic Kerala-style vegetarian food, Sree Lakshmi Bhavan Vegetarian Restaurant is a must-visit! We recently dined here for lunch and were truly impressed by the homely flavors and warm hospitality.
The Kerala Meals (Sadya) served on a banana leaf was the highlight — complete with red rice, sambar, avial, thoran, kalan, rasam, pickle, and crispy papad. Every dish was rich in traditional taste and prepared with fresh ingredients, just like a home-cooked meal. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were balanced – not overly spicy, yet full of aroma and authenticity.
In addition to the meals, they also serve a variety of Kerala-style delicacies like puttu-kadala, appam with stew, and banana fritters (pazham pori), which are available during breakfast and evening hours. We tried the appam-stew combo on a previous visit and found it equally delightful.
The place is clean, service is prompt, and staff are courteous. It’s a popular spot for both locals and travelers, and rightly so.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience true vegetarian Kerala cuisine at an affordable price. A satisfying and soulful culinary...

Overall, the food quality was poor, and the service was equally bad. Definitely not...
