Manjali biriyani — Restaurant in Kerala

Seriously.. No words to describe the experience i had. Let me share my story.

Went there with my cousin bro... He already did warn me that there would be a heck of rush if we get there late.

They usually start selling around 11-11.30 am in the morning. They shut only when cooked biriyani gets completely sold. We reached the shop at 1.15 pm

I really got amazed on seeing a 'bevco' like long queue in front of the shop itself. People were dying to get a hold on to their parcel.

There were only two or three tables available for dine in purpose. Fortunately we were able to find two seats in an already occupied table.

Now about the pricing... I clearly don't understand how it's economically feasible for these guys.

100rs for a full chicken biriyani (a plate full of rice + three chicken pieces),80 for a single one.

Quantity wise, its really tough to eat that all.

Quality wise, it's clearly a unique taste, definitely different from ordinary Kerala biriyanis and dum biriyanis. I don't know if it's the same as original 'Manjaly' Biriyani. Because I'm not lucky to get hands on that one yet. But as a food lover, its definitely mesmerizing...

This is my favorite biriyani destination near by, whenever I get a weekly off this is the place from where I order my lunch. I can't express the taste of chicken gravy. So magical, slow cooked fine chicken, really delicious. Now a days I've noticed that the biriyani is getting over before 2 o'clock. You can even see the "Q" outside this tiny restaurant due to pandemic. But still they have good business just because of their food and service. I've tried both chicken and beef. But I'm a big fan of chicken manjali biriyani. I've done a blog also about this biriyani about one year back. The quality and the quantity at its best just for Rs. 110. This is so yummy. It's a decent Biriyani point in Ernakulam specialised in Manjaly Biriyani. Today I had single chicken Biriyani from there (which costed 100 Rs).

The shop is I think concentrate more on take away orders. However there was a decent dining space inside. The Biriyani was good and worth to the price. There is not much parking space. Have to park vehicle on...
