I recently had a meal at this restaurant, and it offers a unique combination of meals and chattichor. The portions served were quite generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry!
One of the highlights for me was the wide variety of fish dishes they have on their menu. As a fish lover, I was thrilled to see so many options to choose from.
However, I would advise asking about the prices before placing your order, as I found the overall cost to be a bit on the expensive side. It's always good to be aware of the prices to avoid any surprises when the bill arrives.
For regular visits, the alone meals option is a good choice. It offers a convenient and satisfying meal without breaking the bank. It's like a home-cooked meal, but served in a hotel setting.
One interesting aspect of the restaurant is that the service is provided by women. This adds a nice touch of warmth and homeliness to the dining experience.
Speaking of which, the entire setup of the place feels like a homely mess, creating a cozy and comfortable ambiance.
Overall, it's a nice spot to enjoy a delicious meal, especially if you're a fish lover. Just make sure to inquire about the prices beforehand and consider opting for the alone meals for a more budget-friendly option. If you appreciate a homely atmosphere with tasty food, this restaurant is...
Β Β Β Read moreWe had our food here this month (Jul 2023). We had ordered two Karimeen (Pearlspot) fry, two fish curry meals and one veg meal. The quality of the food was okay. Nothing really great (at least what we had). The Pearlspot was deep fried and it was not soft at all. It is okay to deep fry smaller fishes that you can eat with the bone. But bigger fishes are better when they are not fried too crisp to the point of making it brittle. The meals were okay with the veggie dishes served on the side. Again, nothing outstanding in terms of taste. The cost of the meals we felt was right. Veg meals was Rs. 80, and fish curry meals was Rs. 100. You get a bowl of fish curry gravy with some pieces along with the veg meals in the fish curry meal. The Pearlspot fish fry was Rs. 450 per fish. I guess it is based on the weight of the fish. The fish we had was rather large (like 300 to 350 gm per fish is my guess). It is better to enquire about the price of the fish items before ordering.
The service was good. The ambience is just ordinary. But...
Β Β Β Read morePoor quality. We got food poison after eating from there. Price also high. 2 meals and fish fry costs over 700. Not recommended.
Update: As per the reply of the owner, whether you or your family eats at your restaurant not bothers us. We value what we got. You told that i didn't shown the bill. From the previous experiences, i trusted your hotel for the food quality and that's why we visited there. Also, as i paid through card, i didn't got the bill but only the card payment receipt. We ordered thilopi fry. For the size, we could get it at much lower than what you offered. When we entered there for lunch, one of the person there showed us the varieties of fish in a plate that too kept open for a while. They didn't bother to tell us the rates when asked. So do you think that we have guess the price before ordering? Also purchasing fresh fish alone doesn't guarantee the quality, but the way you are cooking it concludes it. Still you think that i supposedly fabricated the review, then its time to reconsider your...
