Orchid Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

Last Saturday, I visited the hotel and ordered two full Chicken Biryanis (CB), one half CB, one quarter Chilli Chicken, and two chapatis. I arrived around 4 PM in the evening. Initially, I received a glass that wasn't cleaned properly, but after complaining, the waiter replaced it. The food arrived, and I was charged Rs. 175 for a full CB, which I felt was a bit high considering the hotel's location in Thalassery town. Moreover, the quality of the biryani rice wasn't up to par. On the positive side, the hotel has a spacious and decent parking area. However, I think renovating the interior would improve the ambiance. I recently visited Orchid Restaurant and was left unhappy with the service. Here's what went wrong:

Service Issues

Miscommunication: I ordered masala dosa, but the waiter didn't inform me that the accompanying vada would be charged separately. Lack of transparency: The waiter failed to clarify the billing. Poor customer service: When I questioned the extra charge, the cashier unfairly suggested I should have returned the vada.

The restaurant is situated at a really convenient location☺️. The interior is very spacious. The staffs are really friendly.💐🫶🏻☺️ They patiently deliver the food list, wait to hear and take the orders. They even come in between and enquire if everything is ok do we require anything. The service was really great and awesome.🫶🏻☺️ Food was really yummy yummy. 😊The only thing was I did not have much space in my tummy and had to pack up the remaining food, which happily they packed for us.☺️ There are parking lots available in front of the restaurant.
