Affordable Cost..Tasty Food While we were travelling we mostly have veg items as mostly prefer saravanabhavan and aryas but not prefer much But in this saravanabhavan was almost whole seat filled and ente entrance seating was blocked at first don't know why but when the hall area was crowded they opened entrance seating ...That's how hotels manage The crowds really great thinking as in of food We 5 of them had Masala Dosa and One Ghee roast as mostly i will check price and compare as it was worth or not as compared to other hotels like aryas and ananda bhavan it was really low price ... As it cost 75₹ for masala and 85₹ for ghee As we ordered extra payasam as which was not over sweety but minimal sweet and one papad which cost 5₹ As masala dosa was too good as only one negative was that main server was only 1 boy as other one also helps around but they man who takes the order and he will deliver the order is too complicated but they practice it around but we saw that he works as a one man army he just fulfills every customers need as he didn't even missed out any table as main quality is he just says how much time each food takes to prepare even told tea will be late I really loved their pudina chutney as it's unlimited even they give a big jar of chutneys even we asked ... Overall for a minimal price and tasty food you visits there aa most people were having meals at that time we goes around 1.30pm just to have much light .... Just Loved it much something is there to...

The place was crowded when I visited and had no seats. There was no one to guide you for seating availability. Ordered pongal vada and masala dosa. The waiter who confirmed the order returns back in 5 mins and checked with me the order again. Another waiter arrives with poori after 5 mins and checks if I had ordered it, on denying, he takes it back. Then the waiter who took the order arrives with 4 plates of masala dosa, where the sambar and chutney were all mixed up and soaking the dosa. We returned that to get another better one from the 4 plates he was carrying. The pongal vada had still not reached my table even after 10 minutes after the masala dosa. Could see the waiters, carrying plates of their orders and serving them to the wrong customers, like what initially happened with us, which seems like a norm there. Finally, the pongal arrives without the vada. Half the pongal was over on my plate and vada was not there. On checking, got a reply that the vada is still under process. First time in a south Indian vegetarian restaurant I learnt that making VADA is such a laborious process 😜. Taste of food was not all that good. Service was chaos. I had visited this place earlier, but it was not so messy like this. Hope they take appropriate measures to improve and maintain their standards. Parking...

Food was tasty. Yet the two stars for following issues: Two types of meals are available, normal meal and special meal.. Costing 85 and 120 respectively. They will say special meal has two Chinese items whereas normal meal has only south indian food. We ordered normal meals since wanted NO Chinese items and received tasty food. Ate it all and asked for the bill. We were charged 120 as per special meals. When asked why, they pointed at Avial (typical kerala vegetables mix) and at chapati (another typical Indian wheat roti) and said these were the two Chinese items! We told them what Chinese food actually involves and they still feel chapati and Avial are Chinese foods. I rest my case. It's up to the readers to decide if they wish to still go ahead and eat at this place. Also, this isn't the authentic common Saravana Bhawan. So beware. Ensure you ask them what they're going to serve you when you order. Two stars...
