I recently had the pleasure of dining at the charming eatery nestled within the Kerala Art and Craft Centre, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. While the menu boasts a limited variety of options, each dish presented was a delightful masterpiece. The reasonable prices caught my attention, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Every bite was a testament to the skilled chefs who crafted these culinary delights. From the first savory bite to the last satisfying morsel, I found myself immersed in a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. What truly set this place apart, however, was the impeccable service. The staff's attentiveness and genuine warmth added to the overall experience, making me feel truly valued as a guest. It's rare to find a place where the service matches the excellence of the food, but this eatery managed to achieve just that. While the variety may be limited, I found every dish to be a worthy choice. Whether you're a connoisseur of traditional cuisine or simply seeking a delicious meal, this hidden gem is a must-visit. The combination of delectable fare, reasonable prices, and exceptional service make it a standout destination for anyone visiting the Kerala Art and Craft Centre. Don't miss the opportunity to savor the flavors and enjoy a memorable dining experience.

We went in as a group of five after seeing the great reviews. We reached around 7PM. This is inside the Kerala Crafts Village, at the entrance the security person had to ask permission to let us in, as usually there is a pass to visit the facility. They did not collect any entrance fee from us. The restaurant is a bit inside the village from the entrance. We parked in the car porch of a building. Some function was going on in their open area next to the building. The restaurant has great seating and a wonderful ambience and very friendly staff. We were the only visitors during that time. Ideal for a date. We ordered Parotta, Chicken varutharaachathu, chicken chilly, chicken 65, and veg fried rice. To be honest the food isn't that great. None of the dishes stood out. May be it was because of the ongoing function. The prices are moderate. We visit again to give it another try. They close around 8PM.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a traditional Kerala meal at this place yesterday, and it was hands down one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in a long time. The meal featured an impressive spread of 17 different dishes (Onam Spl), including 2 desserts – and every single item was a masterpiece. Each dish offered a distinct and authentic taste, celebrating the diversity of Kerala cuisine. What truly elevated the experience, beyond the food, was the warm hospitality of the staff, led by the gracious Sri Biju Thankappan. Their attentiveness, kindness, and genuine warmth made the meal feel even more special. To top it all off, the restaurant is set in an incredibly serene and picturesque location near Kovalam, adding a peaceful, scenic backdrop to an already perfect meal. If you are anywhere near this area, I wholeheartedly recommend making a stop here.

We were on our way to Poovar and found this place in Google maps. The road to this place from highway is in really bad condition. But the moment you enter the gate to the village its different. Well designed well constructed village. I would say the entrance to the restaurant is like a treasure hunt. One will really doubt whether going to right place. Once you enter the restaurant its again different. Warm welcome by staff. Big Hall with plenty of seats. Order taking and execution is wonderful. Not much delay there. Food was excellent. Serving size reasonable. The bill was very reasonable and much less compared to Trivandrum rates. Met the Executive chef also. Very friendly and courteous staff. We were not planning to visit the artisans pavilion but ended up seeing and purchasingsome items. It would have been a loss if we didn't. Worth visiting. Areas to improve: Menu not available. Bit more directions to restaurant. Wash room very spacious but needs bit more cleaning. The whole place needs more publicity so that people will be aware. I recommend anyone going through this area to spare some...
