Jasmine Bay Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

The ambience of the place was not all that great other than the pool side view. Did not look 5star or classy enough. Ordered 3 continental plates i.e. a fish, chicken and beef. While the fish and chicken were pretty average, the beef steak was a disaster. I asked for it be prepared well done, however, it was chewy. The person in charge said a well done steak is usually chewy! It seems they don't even know how beef is cooked. Though I appreciate they replaced it with a fresh one, but the replaced one was even worse. Was red and slightly bloody in colour. I returned that one as well. Again I appreciate the fact that they dint charge me but considering it being Taj I expected better standards of cooking. Was not a five star dining...

Such a bad experience. Am very sad to put such a review. Am calling Taj restaurant team from morning, they just pick the say hi and something. When I started asking my query they just cut the call, first I thought it may be signal problem but it was not, they can hear me properly, they just disconnect deliberately, I was very polite with them even after they disconnected my call several times , just to book dinner buffet for my family get-together. But this have to be cleared, this is not hospitality. Such a big brand should not put such idiots in reception. They should be atleast capable of answering the customer queries. I don't know that reception lady name, such a rude person.. very...

I am in awe of the food served by the Jasmine Bay, a multicuisine restaurant attaché with the Taj By Vivanta. The food served was very tasty and the ambience was very soothing especially the live music organized by the restaurant made our day more special. A high tea by the pool side will lift your mood instantly. The service provided by the staff is top notch and they take special care of the children.
