The Grill Basket — Restaurant in Kerala

This is going to be a long review but a savior for your pockets. Firstly the ambience and coziness as that of an English cafe has been well recreated. Great job, interior designer. Secondly the upholstery and the whole setup did not match the kind of food they served. Some coffee and numerous pastries in this well lit and less spacious place would’ve done wonders. Thirdly coming to the food we had: Turkish pide was small in size but they had done justice to it, you can try it out for the sake of trying it out. Seekh kebab was pathetic. I do not want to explain further. Saw shawarma knew it would be bland. ( check the reviews) The reason we went for trials was coz of a single review stating food tasted just like from Ankhara, it’s not half the way to Ankhara from India.

A good spot for some good Turkish style food. A well setup shop with only limited seating capacity. I liked the way their interior is setup.

I have heard mixed opinions about this place and when I tried out their some of the items in the menu, I felt it good only. But they are slightly overpriced in my opinion.

The staffs are good and attendive. They were really helpful in explaining the menu and choosing them. And even the menu card is also very clear and specific. The dishes are served in an attractive way too. Overall I had a good experience from here. The only concern is the overpriced menu. And the parking space is limited.

Food is great. Mild spices adds to the flavour.

Food Menu: Lots of dishes to select from different categories.

Drinks Menu: Slightly disappointed in this. Normal set of drinks apart from the teas served. Could have done better to accomodate drinks suiting to the cuisines served.

Service: Good and polite staff, helps in understanding the dish

Ambience: Well maintained service area and family friendly. Dining area at the ground floor is a bit hotter due to the proximity to the kitchen. Will recommend the dining at the 1st floor. They also have open dining at the ground level

Value: Good pricing overall except for the refreshments menu.

Parking: Limited spaces available, will be tough to get parking spot...
