Cheated by the Restaurant: My Experience with Valiyakadayil Restaurant

"My mother ordered 4 Chicken Fried Rice and a side of Chilli Chicken from Valiyakadayil Restaurant in Peroorkada through an online food delivery app. She planned to share 3 of the rice packets with a less fortunate family nearby, but when the food arrived, she discovered that she had been cheated. The combined rice from all 4 packets wouldn't even fill one container. Despite raising a complaint and receiving a refund for only 1 packet, she was unable to fulfill her aim of providing food to the family due to the restaurant's dishonesty.

As someone over 60 years of age, my mother is not proficient in using the app, but with her limited knowledge, she managed to raise a complaint request. However, she was unmotivated to place another order from somewhere else due to the heavy rain. The restaurant should not accept orders if they have run out of a dish, and if they do, they should cancel it or offer an alternative. Cheating people who have paid full price for a dish with something that wouldn't even feed one person...

First day went there to buy chappati and chicken gravy. Personally asked for some variety with more spicy, shop owner recommended garlic chicken and I ordered the same. Waited for more than 1 hour with poor response from every person. Still the chicken tasted sweet, like chicken manchurian.

Second day again went there, this time also I asked for some chicken variety to be spicy. This time they recommended chilly chicken. I recieved the order within 10 minutes. But still the chicken tastes the same like 1st day chicken.

Selling same item with different names. Never going to visit the same place. If you prefer some spicy food, just...

Very bad customer service.Rude employee at the cash counter and food qaulity is comprimised even though they charge more..it would be okay if their pricing slash down for what they provide.The main reason I think people keep opting their restuarant is cuz of the lackness of other resturant in this area (peroorkada)....I know complaining would be of no use.But I hope this would help youngsters looking to have brunches and to spend qaulity time at this spot.You can see in other reviews about their packaging and qauntity issues..Alas idk why they shockcase best...
