A Step Up — Restaurant in Kolkata

Well I'm an honest reviewer so let me begin by saying that this is a dance bar, perhaps the only surviving one in Kolkata currently after most of the (or maybe all) others shut down (the ones by VIP Road and Chinar Park).

Not a family place definitely to begin with (also, no females allowed beyond entry). You can hang out with your guys, have some drinks and watch the female dancers perform on the stage nearby you.

There is a system of tipping the dancers which becomes a burden when some of the workers keep bugging you to tip the dancers.

The drinks are fine, quite overpriced but you do have a bit of variety which is good.

This place is a good choice when you want to do something different for the day, spend some time here with the guys and enjoy some dance performance by the girls on stage.

The tradition of the bar is that they only serve premium quality 2 barnds of beer i.e Heiniken and Budwiser.Though you will get to see all barands of beer starting from hawyards in the menu ,but for the last 2years they didnt have anything other than this two.Suppose A person whose choice is only carlsbarg or tuborg will be disheartened and this tradition of selling premium beers for600 bucks is been continued for the past two years approx.What is the use of going here when ur choice is compromised beeing a customer.But yes ,they all are good people here....I left my ipad there on the eve of 21st of dec17' and realised it on 22nd dec17'morning. It looks normal from outside. Generally this place is covered or get dense of people from late evening. It is just beside the bidhannagar railway station and near 4no platform. People come here for a little fun and refreshment. The beverage are available there. It is more costly than normal price. Somebody dance over there to enjoy you.
