BARBEQUES — Restaurant in Kolkata

This pandemic has caused a lot of troubles to many a people, it has brought lots on negativity to our lives but if there is one thing positive that is Bengali youth has started to do there own business and that to of food, the thing we love the most. This is a small cart run by three friends whom have culinary background. First of all the thing I want to mention is there very polite behaviour and neat and clean stall. These young guys are very passionate about what the do. Now lets come to food we had chicken malai kebab (5 Pcs for ₹99)and BBQ tikka kebab(5pcs for ₹89). The kebabs were succulent and were full of flavours. The marination was greatly done. We gave some suggestions to them and they were very polite to accept them. And another great thing is that the pocket pinch is low and for the price we get 5 succulent chunks of barbecue goodness. Surely recomend!! One gripe is as they are a bit low in manpower the wait time is a bit more. In winters it is not a problem to stand beside the grill but in summer days it can be a bit problematic. Wish they soon sort the problem. With few minor improvements and arranging some seating they can be a great place to hangout in the area....

This place is located near Muchipara, Biren Roy Road (W). The roadside stall is easy to spot as it remains crowded most of the time. It is run by a group of management students, and they have done a good job with the live counter of kebabs.

The prices of the items were reasonable. In fact, for a roadside stall they are very neat and clean. However, you need to wait for a significant amount of time to get your food as the are low on manpower.

We tried the following items at Barbecues:

Bbq chicken tikka kebabs (5 pcs) Chicken pahari kebabs (5 pcs) Chicken malai kebabs (5 pcs) Chicken cheese kebabs (5 pcs)

The taste of every item was good. The chicken could have been a bit more tender. A minute or two on the barbecue would have done the trick. I saw that they use Amul cheese for the chicken cheese kebabs, which is great.

I feel that they can improve on the order management part. Otherwise, they have the potential to become one of the best places for kebabs in Behala.

Do visit the place. And give it a try. For the price, the kebabs are...

Nice ...but only the chicken wings(30rs) worth the money and mostly all tikkas r over priced they r charging 90 rs to 120 for 5 pieces of chicken but the size is very small (u guys should increase the size/pieces or should decrease the rates) . one last thing they show/tell that they use pure butter but after the first bar of butter melts THEY MIX OIL IN THE BUTTER. THEY KEEP THE OIL IN A SMALL JAR. AND HIDES IT UNDER THEIR STALL . The staff is very polite behavior is top notch just the price and quality can be improved .

Thats my honest review for this. Tip Only buy the chicken wings if u visit here Wings...
