EBELA OBELA — Restaurant in Kolkata

Very bad service. I almost regularly order from Ebela Obela using different IDs of course for availing Zomato special offer. But what I experienced today was horrible. This was unexpected and very bad towards customer service. Had ordered Basanti Polau and Murgi Kosha combo. In my previous orders they served the polau in a big container but today they gave a small container. On asking they unapologeticlly said that from 3pm-6pm they serve in small container and of very small quantity only. This is plain cheating. What kind of answer was this? Is this should be the attitude to your customer? This was such a blatant lie. Means, I am paying the same amount for the same food but for a small quantity whereas if I'd have ordered the same thing in a different time I'd have been given bigger quantity. What the hell !!! If this was really so, Ebela Obela should then, do something to notify all their customers about it so that they can avoid ordering in that time. I have always preferred Ebela Obela's food more than any other restaurants but after this, I will think 1000th times before ordering here ever again. Highly unsatisfied with Ebela...

I have ordered food through Zomato from Ebela Obela, Naktala for the first time ever. I ordered 1 Chicken Biryani with Chicken Chaap (1 Piece) for Rs. 299/- with Taxes Rs. 12.35/- and Restaurant packing charges Rs. 10.00/- and Platform Fee Rs. 5.00/- and round off Rs. 0.35/- paise Grand total amount was Rs. 326.00/- with Delivery Charges (Free with Gold) of Rs. 63.00/- and with 40% discount code applied (HUNGRY 80) I saved Rs. -80.00/- on my entire bill and my net payable amount was Rs. 246.00/- which my mom paid it in online by Phone Pe to the delivery boy Raju Prahalad Kunti. I placed an order at around 6:00pm the delivery time took 35 minutes and it was delivered by 6:35pm by the delivery boy Raju Prahalad Kunti. The USP of this delivery joint is to provide you an essence of Bangladeshi cuisine as their Moto is " oparer swad epare " which means that they have transferred the flavours of Bangladeshi cuisine on their preparations .

I ordered a few items for my lunch from this delivery joint which includes a full portion of Basanti polao and half portion of chicken kasa ,payes was there to end my meal on a sweet note .

Quantity was good enough for one person . I got a got leg piece is chicken which I love. The chicken kasa was very rich with lot of spices and it was amazing to taste. The Basanti polao was sweet on taste which complemented the chicken very well. It was full of cashew and raisins .

The payes was a good thing to end my lunch . It was not too sweet and hence I loved it as well.
