A good themed resto-bar near to the Tollygunge metro station. The resto is themed in film style with lots of old film cameras and props decorated inside. Getting in, you'd immediately notice large wall-posters of the Indian feature films (not the originals, artificially reproduced replicas with a different set of faces; may be this is to avoid copyright violation infringement). Over all the decor is attractive and the staff is courteous.
The quality of food is very good. They make a fish dish with sliced Bhasa fish tossed in spiced sauce, which is unparalleled; the blend and the taste is just perfect. Tandoor and Veg dishes are also very good. Please note that this is not a coffee shop, though they make good cold coffee with ice cream; they would not serve only coffee without a proper meal/starter course ordered.
This is one of the budget friendly resto-bars in Kolkata. The food and alcohol are priced on the reasonable side, though the starters are priced a bit towards higher end.
