The Manjil Food Centre — Restaurant in Kolkata

The picture attached below is of Special Mutton Biriyani for which the shop charges an extra of Rs.10 if it is home delivered (notwithstanding the delivery charges). Now where to start ! The quality of the food is unbelievably worse. It seems as though the rice is dipped in chilli powder mixed water. The quantity really surprises me. I really wonder how much is provided for a regular Mutton Biriyani if this the so called "Special Quantity". The mutton pieces have been forged with at different places and the taste is quite horrendous. Never before have I tasted such low graded food. It's a shame to have ordered from here. This shop should really stop cheating it's customers in this manner otherwise, very soon there...

Tacky is the correct word to describe the place. Parking available, a small seating place with few chairs and tables inside. Open kitchen on road so one can get loads of dirt. Not worth of money. Takeaway is suggested, it remains open till 12 midnight. Rumali roti is available here in evening and only in this restaurent in this area. If you have option then take another option. The owner sits in the so called restaurent and they are not at all pleasant. Service is quick and prompt here and rarely there's any waiting here.
