We recently visited the newly launched Valencia Cafe in Santoshpur and were thoroughly impressed by its ambiance and offerings. The decor is stunning, featuring white walls adorned with various types of plants, creating a beautiful mix of white and green that is aesthetically pleasing. The seating area is spacious, with two distinct sections: one with a unique white-pebbled floor and the other more conventional, yet comfortable.
The restroom, though small and simple, is clean and practical, meeting all necessary standards. The staff's politeness and behavior were excellent, and even the owners were present, ensuring visitors had the best experience possible.
Regarding the food, we sampled several options. For appetizers, we tried Dirty Chicken Fajita Fries, Cheese Shorts, and Crispy Chicken Strips. All were delicious, though I found them slightly less spicy than my preference. The staff explained that Continental Cuisines typically aren't very spicy and assured me that they would cater to my spice level on my next visit. They even provided a complementary spicy dip, which was a thoughtful gesture.
For the main course, we opted for the Valencia Special Pizza (Veg), a Neapolitan-style thin-crust pizza with a variety of toppings that tasted fantastic. Our drinks included Peach Iced Tea, which was refreshing, though I was slightly disappointed by the Cream of Heaven drink. It was simply a cheese slice atop regular cold coffee, lacking the expected cream cheese flavor.
For dessert, we enjoyed the Oreo Cheesecake, which was excellent, but the standout was the Apple Fried with Caramel Sauce. This unique dessert featured real apple slices with wafers, cream, and other delicious toppings, and it was absolutely amazing.
Overall, our experience at Valencia Cafe was wonderful, and I highly recommend it to everyone. The pricing is competitive, similar to other cafes, so no complaints there. A special mention goes to Mr. Kousik from the support staff, who ensured we had the best possible experience. He personally inquired about our satisfaction with each dish, reflecting the high praise he has received in other reviews.

Read moreI recently visited Valencia Cafe, and overall, it was a delightful experience with some minor areas for improvement.
Dirty Prawn Fries The prawns were excellently cooked, and the fries were well seasoned, making for a satisfying combination. However, the cheese and sauce could have been more liquid, which would have enhanced the dish's texture and flavor.
Fish and Chips The fish was well seasoned, and the batter was particularly flavorful. Although the batter was a bit too thick for my preference, a thinner batter would have made it perfect. Unfortunately, the chips themselves weren't seasoned, which was a letdown.
Fajita Fries The fajita fries were a solid choice, with well-cooked chicken that added to the overall good taste.
Lamb Shank The lamb shank was well-prepared and enjoyable.
Desserts The brownie served with ice cream was delicious, but the portion size could have been larger. On the other hand, the fried apple was exceptional. The mix of flavors with the fried apples, whipped cream, ice cream, and nuts created a heavenly texture that was a standout dish.
Service The service was commendable, especially thanks to a waiter named Kausik. One memorable incident was when we needed tissues, and Kausik brought us another set even before we asked, demonstrating attentiveness and excellent service. The staff's behavior was generally very good and contributed positively to our experience.
Cakes The cakes were underwhelming. While the plating was visually appealing, the taste did not meet expectations.
