Evergreen Continental — Restaurant in Kozhencherry

This restaurant is actually an easily accessible one near Pathanamthitta town. But truly I'm a bit of disappointed by today's experience. The appearance of the restaurant will create some expectations inside us. The price is also leading to some very nice food experience in expectations. But truly, the experience was bad. We were two and ordered Kuzhimanthi (Half). It cost us about ₹330/-. But the food was not so good. It was my one and only worst experience with Kuzhimanthi till date. Till today which ever Manthi I have eaten, were so freaking awesome. But the one in this restaurant is so disappointing. It was having the worst taste I have ever got. Both the rice as well as the chicken were having sour taste to it. This may be due to the low quality lemon juice or some essence they used in it. The mayonnaise and the chilly sauce were also too bad. They all really lacks the quality. As I said we were two and we both felt the same. The sad thing is that we were not able to finish the food. We couldn't eat that worst tasting one. Till today, I never wasted food. This made me actually very disappointed and dissatisfied. We didn't went for any argue on this to them. But must say this in the review. May it help them in improving their quality later. I'm not degrading the restaurant. I just give out my experience. This may not be the experience of some others who may ordered Biriyani or fried rice or even the Manthi another day. What I wanna say is that they must take care on the quality of the food. The shop owners or staffs may argue with my review. For them, they must eat Manthi from some another restaurant like Al Razi , Thiruvalla or Al Baik , Kollakadavu etc. I just quote these two because, they were good...

It was a gruesome experience that me and my friend underwent at evergreen restaurant.we were enroute to watch a movie from trinity Pathanamthitta,we had reached 1 hr before the movie time,besides,we planned to have lunch from there, I've suggested 'kuzhimandi ' from there . after reaching there we have awaited so long for placing our order,as waiter was not interested to take orders however restaurant was not that much busy at all.somehow we got our kuzhimandi after long wait, holy sake one of the worst mandi that we have ever experienced yet, chicken was half boiled and masala was totally sticky, in addition mandi rice were watery.we called waiter for informing this, his behaviour was totally unprofessional and rude, his saying was ' our mandi is like this may be you are not aware of mandi' if u have further complaint talk with our manager. so we decided to talk with him and he was quite good in nature and as he understand their mistake he offered us a alternate for that mandi despite that we refused and leave from there.if there is 0 Star for rating i would like to give that for this restaurant, totally untrustworthy experience from evergreen restaurant...

Guys, i would like to share the bad experience from the evergreen hotel. Recently we frnds dined in the restaurant, we ordered naan, chicken butter masala, chilli chiken, alfam and tandoori chicken along with salads.when few of my frnds tried alfam and tandoori they noticed bad smell and informed the waiters about. We did not want to spoil the good time we had with frnds. So we left after informing the manager as well. On the next day, frnds who tried chicken tandoori and alfam developed food poisoning got admitted in muthoot hospital. As this is a matter of public health, we informed to health and food departments of government of kerala and they have taken statement from them. At that time we had a hope that we will get justice and we were expecting the proper action from the govt body. But later, lot of people contacted us for a compromise. But its a matter of public health, we are going to move legally. We understood that no action is going to take as it was not a first incident happening to public.
