Plated Pathanamthitta — Restaurant in Kozhencherry

[This review is actually a late post]. I was so happy that Pathanamthitta finally had a good restaurant that I could recommend to anyone without any second thought, but, sadly, I'm taking this one off my recommendation list* till further notice only because they are no longer serving their signature dishes (Hot Paprika & Mexican Tangy )(write me if it's back on the menu). So, moving on to the first experience when the menu had what it promised, we had paprika and Mexican tangy fried chicken. It was just perfect and tasty, well cooked with a nice crusty breading and aromatic flavor that makes you want more... everything was fine, no complaints. (02/10/22 & 12/06/23)

But the last time I went (probably August'23 I think), there was only fried chicken available and was informed by the staff that both the dishes were no longer being served (!?) So, we had shawarma, honestly, it was not as good as I anticipated with the status level of the plated. as a well-known restaurant, I've had better one's than that from local shops. and also Pepsi or any other soft drinks are also no longer served*, so keep that in mind too.

Ott time : ~ 20-30 mins table for two is just too small (imo) Cohesive Interior good service perfect for night hangouts

Plated is a nice place to visit with friends and family. They offer a variety of dishes, including broasted chicken & Alfam chicken in various flavours( many variants in the menu are not available anymore) , burgers, sandwiches, rolls, French fries, and soft drinks.

I tried the shawarma roll, which was just okay, but the Alfam chicken was better. I recommend trying the Kanthari variant of the Alfam. The Mexican variant of the broasted chicken was good—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with a tangy flavor.

Service can be slow, so be patient. I'm not sure if they accept advance orders, but if you can get a contact number, it's a good idea to call and pre-order to save time.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at your restaurant. Despite having a diverse menu, I was unfortunate to find that the taste of all the dishes I ordered was overwhelmingly similar, with an excessive use of masala.

Furthermore, I was dismayed to discover that the chicken used in the dishes was not fresh. Some of the chicken pieces were even bitter, which was unacceptable.

Given the high standards promised by your social media marketing campaigns, I was shocked by the lack of quality in the food served. It appears that your restaurant is prioritizing promotional activities over culinary excellence, which is misleading and disappointing for customers like myself.

I hope you will take my feedback seriously and take necessary steps to improve the quality of your food...
