I recently visited Apna Sweets and tried their Chole Tikki Chaat, Dahi Puri, and Anaar Juice, and I must say, all three items were delicious! The Chole Tikki Chaat was perfectly spiced, with the right balance of tangy and savory flavors. The Dahi Puri was refreshing, with crispy puris filled with creamy dahi and a mix of chutneys that made it a delightful treat. The highlight, however, was the Anaar Juice. It was freshly prepared, without any ice or added sugar, which made it taste natural and absolutely yummy. A perfect blend of sweetness and tanginess that felt both healthy and refreshing. The only downside was their seating policy. They don’t allow seating for single diners or groups of two or three. It’s strictly for a minimum of four people, so if you’re in a smaller group or solo, you’ll have to stand and eat. While the food is worth it, this arrangement can be a bit inconvenient. Overall, a great spot for delicious snacks and juices, but the seating policy could be more accommodating.

If someone is at Indore, he or she must be visiting any of the Apna sweets centre. It is the main outlet of Apna brand in the city by the Annapurna road. It has a great ambience with a varieties of sweet items. Some of the sweets are with excessive Gheebjt all are quite tasty. The sweets made up of kaju, mango flavour, Mawa are quite delicious. All the sweets are sold on kg basis. The namkin section also serves a no of items like bhujiya, chana, papad etc. One can have sample to taste before purchasing. The snacks option also includes item like veg achari roll, pizza, fruit juice, cofee and a lot more. The ground floor is for take away and second floor is for dining in. One has to get coupon on the ground floor and then only can sit for dine in. Wash room is only available on the second floor. The behaviour kof staff members are quite cordial and billing is systematic. I had purchased motichur ka laddoo which tastes like anything!

Food is tasty.(Dosa, utappam curd rice). Sambar is good. As we went around 1 pm getting place was easy but by 230pm it was almost full. happy with the experience. it is one of the eatery and sweet shop popular in Indore. I think their khajur byte is unique and best quality I personally cherish it. This kind of khajur byte I did not see in Hyd also. some people commented about staff behaviour. Firstly ground floor cashier people are damn busy. Two they had card system in stead of paying for each item. Three till now I did not have any issues. infact today he did not bring sambar/chutney with my utappam. i jocularly asked the waiter should I eat as such. He also laughed and brought them. Infact I like their policy of hiring some staff who are 'specially abled'. Edit/added on Jan 13 24. Tried their lunch or thali. Quite liberal (excess) oil on paratha or roti. Curd raitha is too sweety. Needs correction. Otherwise ok.

The most forgettable dining experience for me and my family at Apna Sweets, Annapurna Temple road Indore. If I had an option of giving negative ratings, I would have given it. If one has to walk out half-done from a restaurant, it’s the worst experience and that’s precisely happened at Apna Sweets.

The reason - the most random arrangement of taking a token from ground floor for every damn thing - before you everything. And secondly, it’s the arrogance from the staff - starting from the lady at the token counter to the waiters.

Diners are led to the first floor - and given the menu cards. And when they want to order, they are told to go and get a token from the ground floor - wow … that’s super amazing system. And that’s not all by the way - everything on the first floor is self service — the waiter will dump the plates, bowls, spoons on your table - and that’s not and exaggeration, he literally just dumped the pile of plates, bowls ans spoon our table. When asked, he said it's self service - not even laying out the plates on the table. The best part of the whole experience was - the food was also dumped the same way on the table — with all the rotis put in a steel container, all at once. You go ahead, lay out your plate, serve yourself. All they (the waiters) will do is just watch you. If you decide to order an extra roti or a rice dish or a dessert, go to ground floor, get a token and then wait for someone to dump it on your table. Basically, the attitude or the staff and the lady at the token counter was like - we are obliging you, so take it or leave it.

I decided not to order anything apart from my initial order ans left the place with my family and aged parents with half empty stomach. And by the way, the food too was sub par. Something that you can get at any road side stall or a dhaba.

This was the most weird and worst dining experience for me that left a super bad taste...

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at this restaurant, and I must say it was one of the most frustrating dining experiences I've had in a long time. From start to finish, the service was abysmal.

First, I was shocked to find out that I needed to purchase a voucher before even booking a table. This seemed like an unnecessary and inconvenient step that most restaurants don't require. It felt like an extra hassle and a cash grab.

Once I finally got a table, the problems only escalated. I noticed that there was no table service at all. In fact, I had to visit the counter for every single dish I wanted to order. This not only disrupted the flow of the meal but also meant that I had to constantly get up and wait in line just to get something to eat. It felt more like a cafeteria than a restaurant.

To make matters worse, the service was incredibly slow. It seemed like the staff were either understaffed or simply disinterested in providing a pleasant dining experience. I waited an eternity for my food to arrive, and even simple requests like getting a glass of water took an uncomfortably long time.

The food itself was mediocre at best, which was the final disappointment. After enduring such poor service, I had hoped that at least the food would make up for it, but that was not the case.

Overall, I would strongly advise against dining at this restaurant. The need to purchase a voucher, the lack of table service, and the painfully slow service all combine to create a dining experience that is far from enjoyable. There are plenty of other restaurants in town that offer better food and service without the unnecessary hassles. Save yourself the frustration and look...
