The Tinkus has recently renovated, and the new look is really impressive. The place feels fresh, modern, and welcoming, adding to its already amazing vibe. It’s quickly become one of those spots where the energy is vibrant but still cozy enough to enjoy a relaxed meal. One thing to note is that it’s almost always full, so finding a place to sit can be a bit challenging. That’s a good sign though—it shows how popular and loved the place is!
The best part is their food quality and taste, which remain consistently good even after the renovation. The menu has been expanded too, offering a wider variety of options to choose from. They even have a special selection of different types of idli, which is a great treat for dosa and idli lovers alike.
What’s especially thoughtful is their new menu catering to people observing upvaas (fasting). This shows that The Tinkus is really trying to be inclusive and meet the diverse needs of their customers, which makes it stand out even more.
If you are planning to visit, I’d honestly say you should try almost everything on their menu because it’s all quite good. Whether you’re craving classic South Indian dishes or want to explore their new items, it’s a place where you’ll find something tasty and satisfying.
Overall, the renovation has been a great upgrade, making The Tinkus an even better place to enjoy good food with a lively atmosphere. Just be prepared for it to be busy, because clearly, a lot of people love...
Read moreI recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the packaging of their French fries. The fries were placed in a flimsy paper bag that did not hold up well during transport. By the time I got home, the fries were a soggy mess and completely unappetizing.
Not only was the packaging inadequate, but it was also extremely wasteful. The paper bag was too small for the amount of fries I ordered, so they had to add an extra bag, which added up to an unnecessary amount of paper waste.
I understand that takeout packaging can be challenging, but this restaurant needs to invest in better quality containers that can handle the weight of the fries and prevent them from becoming soggy. The current packaging is unacceptable and ruins the dining experience.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for takeout if you're planning on ordering French fries. The poor packaging practices completely ruined the experience and left me feeling...
