Kumar MESS - Non -Veg குமார் அசைவ உணவகம் — Restaurant in Madurai

A group of 7 members went to maattuthavani branch. it was 3 PM Sunday afternoon and quite busy and no issues with that, however the way guests were treated can be much better. Highly recommend restaurant owner/manager to take guest name and place them accordingly during peak hours.

there were 3 groups and each with around 8 members and guest had to rush ourselves to get seated. this is a very basic which even small restaurants do and not sure why manager or floor manager is not even collecting names even after suggesting upfront.

Bill was around 4k for 7 members and we expect some kind of hospitality and pleasant mindset to get seated and have food. guest were in hurry burry to get seated and started starring at ones who are having food and embarrassing for guests.

this can be easily resolved just by collecting names and getting guest accommodated.

One more suggestion is with chicken 65 half portion is 350 bucks and looks very much pricey. i agree guest should be aware of the menu cost or relative range before going. but 350 bucks for chicken 65 is way high even Buhari who introduced the dish won't charge this much.

coming to the food we enjoyed thoroughly and no comments in that aspect. Kudos to the chef's and team.

manager/owner need to focus more on hospitality and guest expect this when coming to the restaurant when it is already a known brand.

Kumar mess Mattuthavani near branch ... One of the awesome non vegetarian restaurant.... Their top best in class was mutton kola urundai .... No one can match this taste .... It was one of the best in their food... I have tasted mutton biriyani ... Briyani mixed was good and perfect in combination with masala ... They have give me kaadai gravy, Chettinad chicken gravy and mutton kolambu for briyani.... Then kaadai fry with onion was good , then I go with chicken lollipop it was perfectly roasted... Egg mutton cury was so awesome it was again started me to tasted it again one.... Then mutton Kari dosa was perfectly mixed and roasted in perfect manner... Then I finished with my favourite nandu omlet ... the service of restaurants was also good ... Need to...

This is the worst hotel I have ever visited in madurai. Totally not worth the cost. Too costly and very less quantity. Atleast the taste should be hifi for the price. But, even the taste is just like a normal roadside hotel. This is the only hotel wherein both chicken and plain biryani is priced the same(250 Rs). For God sake please don't visit this hotel. It won't satisfy the hunger nor the taste. Dishes are priced equivalent to 5star restaurants. Someone mentioned in a review that Mutton kola balls are the best here.
