I visited this restaurant recently during my trip to Sawantwadi. While I must admit that the food was tasty and the spices were well-balanced, I was quite disappointed with the pricing — especially considering the location. Charging ₹700–₹500 for a small fish in a rural area like Sawantwadi is simply not justified. I’ve eaten at many coastal and rural spots across Goa and Maharashtra where the quality and quantity were better at much more reasonable rates.

It’s understandable that fresh fish comes at a cost, but the portion size was shockingly small for the price. You expect honest pricing when you’re away from the big cities, but here it felt like we were being overcharged just because we were visitors.

The service was average, and the place itself has a nice local vibe, but the value for money is seriously lacking.

I hope the management considers revising their pricing to match the area and portion sizes. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend this place for budget travelers or locals looking for a fair deal. Good food alone doesn’t make up for unfair pricing.
