It was lucky day to had wonderful lunch in malwani days a true and authentic konkani food restaurant. With great teste and food quality. Located on the way to goa just after finishing the Amboli ghat before sawantwadi.. We tested food items like fish fry , crabs and chicken with special Maharashtrian bhakari and rice with curry the taste found authentic and fresh. It was just feeling at home experience.really thanks to the malwani days for such great food. This restaurant is highly recommended for their taste hygiene and honestly service. its must visit place for everyone who visit Goa and konkan.

It's an overhyped place. Go there only for sea food. They are good at that. Not even for mutton and chicken. For Veg, it's strictly no no. It has good exterior look and is located on a state highway off NH 66 (Mumbai-Goa Road) some 8 kms from downtown Sawantwadi on road leading to Amboli ghat. There are better joints in Sawantwadi town, serving certainly better food, Sea food with lot of veriety, mutton, chicken and even Veg food at less price than this one. The name of this place says 'Malvani' but it's more or less Punjabi, Mughlai, Chinese food served with Malvani masala (spices). Rotis (Bhakaris, Vades, Chapatis) are not upto the mark, rather below par. They may probably good at Tandoor Roti, Naan etc. Just pass it and enter Sawantwadi town, ask any one about a good place serving better non-veg and especially sea food and they may take some different name. And that would be...

If you’re in Sawantwadi and craving authentic Malvani food, this restaurant is one of the best options around. We tried prawns and canak thali, and each dish delivered that true Malvani taste. The thali came with a delicious additional gravy of fish and crab in small portions, adding even more depth to the meal. The solkadi was exceptional, served perfectly cold with just the right balance of flavors – simple, yet incredibly refreshing.

Restaurant offers a variety of thali options, and while the prices may be slightly higher than other places, the quality and portions make it well worth it. The ambiance is great, with plenty of parking and a play area for families. The only area for improvement would be the salad served in the thali – it would have been perfect if it included a more authentic Konkan-style salad.

Overall, this is a must-try spot for...

Visited for a late lunch so it was not crowded. Ambience has nice old school vibe and is not overcrowded with tables. Fish thalis were awesome but my mother's chicken thali was not upto her standards. Parking is big enough and the property is easily accessible from the main road. Mobile network issue exist in the area but luckily they have WiFi so UPI payment has no issues. Staff is friendly and the owner personally visited our table to ask if everything was good which is warm touch that many restaurant have forgotten. Prices are a bit high for the fish thali but dishes are more so it's a overall a good experience. I would definitely be revisiting this place and recommend it to everyone.

The thali was good ,tried the sangoti thali (it’s just with an added Malvani vada which is just a yellow tinted puri -I’d skip that) and take the tandoori roti instead. The wheat chapati tasted very meh ,idk why. The chicken Malvani in the thali was excellent ,so was the egg masala and the red rassa thing. I’d say their prices are moderately ok,the waiter seems somewhat deaf so write down what you want perhaps on a napkin to avoid miscommunication. Overall loved the thali(maybe add a sweet dish like kheer/halwa to it)the lime soda was perfect. 9/10 for the food ,7/10 for the service and 8/10 for the rustic ambiance.
