Damodar Biryani House in Ahmednagar has earned a reputation as a go-to spot for biryani lovers and food enthusiasts alike. Tucked away in the city’s bustling streets, it offers an experience that many locals swear by, and for good reason. Whether you’re looking for a hearty meal or a quick bite, Damodar Biryani House consistently delivers in terms of quality, quantity, and flavor.
One of the first things that strike you about the place is its no-frills ambiance. It’s not a high-end restaurant, but the simplicity is part of its charm. The seating is comfortable enough for small groups or families to enjoy a meal, and the service is prompt. Staff members are generally courteous and helpful, providing suggestions if you’re unsure of what to order. The place is usually packed during peak hours, which speaks volumes about its popularity. It may take a while to find seating on weekends or holidays, but the wait is worth it.
When it comes to food, the star of the show is undoubtedly the biryani. The restaurant offers a variety of biryanis, but the most popular is the chicken biryani. Each plate is served generously, with succulent pieces of well-marinated chicken nestled in fragrant, long-grain basmati rice. The spice level is balanced, making it a great choice for those who enjoy a mildly spiced biryani, though it might not fully satisfy someone seeking a fiery kick. The rice is cooked perfectly, neither too oily nor too dry, and is infused with the rich aromas of the spices. Accompanied by a side of raita and a piece of boiled egg, the biryani is a wholesome, satisfying meal.
For vegetarians, the veg biryani holds its own. Though biryani is often associated with meat, Damodar Biryani House’s veg offering is packed with flavor. The vegetables are cooked to perfection, and the blend of spices elevates the dish beyond a typical vegetarian meal. They also serve other dishes such as kebabs, mutton biryani, and starters like chicken tikka, which are equally popular and maintain the high standards set by their signature dish.
Price-wise, Damodar Biryani House offers excellent value for money. Given the generous portion sizes, you’re unlikely to leave feeling hungry. The pricing is reasonable, making it an affordable option for a quick lunch or a casual dinner. Whether you're a student or a working professional, this place fits into most budgets without compromising on quality.
One area where Damodar Biryani House could improve is its cleanliness and overall hygiene. While the food itself is impeccable, the dining area could benefit from more regular cleaning, especially during peak hours when the turnover of customers is high. Additionally, the place can get a bit crowded, so it’s best to visit during off-peak times if you want a more relaxed dining experience.
In conclusion, Damodar Biryani House offers a taste of authentic, delicious biryani at a very reasonable price. The simplicity of the place and the high quality of the food make it a beloved institution in Ahmednagar. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's well worth a visit if you're in the mood for...

Nestled in the heart of the city, Biryani Bliss truly lives up to its name, offering an unforgettable dining experience. The moment you step inside, you're welcomed by a warm, ambient atmosphere – soft lighting, tasteful decor, and soothing music that sets the mood perfectly for a cozy meal.
The star of the show, of course, is the biryani. From the first bite, you can tell the rice is expertly cooked and fragrant, with each grain carrying the perfect balance of spices. The meat, tender and flavorful, melts in your mouth, and the seasoning is spot-on, giving a burst of authentic flavor that’s hard to find. For those who enjoy a bit of heat, the biryani is mildly spiced but leaves room for added customization upon request.
Service here is excellent, too. The staff is attentive but not intrusive, always ready with recommendations and quick to respond to requests. Paired with refreshing side drinks and the perfect cooling raita, every element on the plate and in the atmosphere contributes to a thoroughly satisfying experience.

Read moreWorth 2.5 stars but Maps don't allow giving half star .
Giving less rating just due to hygiene . Low lights were there but bugs and small insects were roaming around table as it was home for them . I believe that ambience and taste should have no relation while reviewing but HYGIENE should have . I hope they keep hygiene as there priority.
This place is having very low lights specially as they offer drinks so if you prefer for Drinks (Alcohol) you should go .
Egg biryani was not at all good . There was not enough masala to be carried with egg . Onion which was served along with was having black shade which purely means that it was not fresh .
Cost was 170₹ but quantity was not as per 170₹ .
Please do something about hygiene i would only suggest to improve about it very soon. As people have different taste buds they might love taste but Hygiene has no variety it should be maintained at priority .
As it would be insulting to post pics of insects roaming around table so I am not posting it here . Hope you...
