On our way back to Mumbai from Igatpuri, we made an impromptu halt at Dara’s Dhaba, and it turned out to be one of the most rewarding decisions of the trip. This generously maintained dhaba is built to evoke a rustic Punjabi charm, yet remains clean, spacious, and welcoming — striking that perfect balance between tradition and comfort. The food? Absolutely delightful, with authentic dhaba-style flavors that don’t try to be overly modern or fancy — they just get it right. We started off with Masala Papad, which came crisp and fresh, generously topped with tangy onions, tomatoes, green chillies, coriander, and a hint of chaat masala that made every bite pop with flavor. It was the perfect light and crunchy appetizer to get our taste buds going. Next came the Chicken Kebab, and it was a true highlight. Juicy, well-marinated chunks of chicken grilled to perfection — smoky, spicy, and full of that signature charred aroma you expect from a good kebab. The spice level was just right, and the meat was incredibly tender, making it an instant crowd-pleaser at our table. Moving on to the mains, we ordered Butter Chicken with Butter Garlic Naan — and it was exactly what you’d want from a dhaba. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and mildly spiced, with just the right amount of sweetness and depth from the slow-cooked tomato base. The naan was soft yet slightly crisp on the edges, brushed generously with butter and speckled with just enough garlic to complement the curry without overpowering it. And of course, no trip to a dhaba feels complete without the classic combination of Tadke Wali Dal Fry and Jeera Rice. The dal was perfectly tempered with ghee, garlic, cumin, and red chillies — aromatic and hearty. Paired with fluffy, fragrant jeera rice, it was comfort food at its finest — simple, soulful, and satisfying. Overall, Dara’s Dhaba is more than just a highway stop — it’s an experience that captures the essence of North Indian roadside hospitality and flavor. Highly recommended for anyone passing through this route!

Visited Daraz Dhaba recently and had a thoroughly satisfying experience. The place offers a true dhaba-style ambiance with rustic charm and a welcoming vibe — perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. We started with masala papad, which was crisp and loaded. The chicken Banjara kebab was a highlight — juicy, perfectly marinated, and grilled to perfection with just the right amount of smokiness. For the main course, we enjoyed butter chicken paired with garlic naan and jeera rice. The butter chicken had a rich, buttery gravy that was both flavorful and comforting. The naan was soft with a lovely garlic aroma, and the jeera rice was light and fragrant, complementing the curry well. To refresh the palate, we had a fresh lemon soda, which worked perfectly as a palate cleanser — tangy, fizzy, and very refreshing. The service was prompt and the hygiene was well-maintained. Daraz Dhaba strikes a great balance between traditional dhaba charm and modern comfort. Definitely a place I’d recommend for those craving hearty North Indian food in a pleasant setting and also for tourists who are travelling from Mumbai to Nashik for lunch or dinner break.

Along the nashik hiway on the route towards mumbai... Like any other dhabas these days, this dhaba has outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. We took a table outside which has a khatiya setting. Orderes chana garlic fry and khichia masala (rice papad ).. they were quite good For starterrs we had paneer sholey kakab and chiken achari.. the paneer was real good... Chiken peices were soft and has pickle style taste... For main course we had butter naan, butter atta naan(wheat floor) and rotis, along with veg achari and chiken aftab masla(half for 4 ppl was enuf) The veg dish was average mix veg vegetable with expected pickle flavor. The chiken dish was a bit differnet, deep fried chiken peices with thick gravy and was good to taste. Lastly we had lassi, as there were nt much dessert option. It was a big glass of lassi and took 3 of us to finish it after the lunch...

Its a very old Dhaba on Mumbai Nasik Highway so while driving to Nasik it will be on the right hand side of the highway to be more precise after Suraj water park keep your eyes on the right hand side so after 2-3 kilometers you will find this dhaba. The food is good you have veg and non veg food available so people looking for pure veg restaurant or dhaba for them it will not be suitable. They also Serve Liquor soo keep that as well in mind for non drinker's 😃

They have 3 different types of seating arrangements 1- traditional Khatiya 2-table chair 3- Family Room One of the best thing you can order while have food or boozing as starters is Rice Papad they serve a very good one there. The cook prepares very tasty food I'm a vegetarian so cant comment on Non veg options but my friends said it was great to Taste. Its open till midnight so even if you are late you can relia on this place that you will not be kept hungry. Good hospitality management is also good washroom are neat and clean one can go hear along with Family as you will find more families here instead of only boy's boozing. I have been here a lot of time so love this place and try to make a late once while traveling on this route 35- 40 km from Thane city so one can plan for weekend...
