Food Highway Hotel (New Darshan ) — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Situated on NH48 in Haloli, on the Mumbai-Vapi route, this restaurant is a very welcome pit stop for people traveling by road. We stopped there to have a coffee and a bite. There is a ample parking space with an attendant to guide you. There are a number of restaurants, the main Kailash Sarovar, McDonald's Mc'Cafe, the Pizza Boys, Pan World and even a Lonavla's Chikki. Food was fresh and hot and moderately priced and service quick and efficient. This is obviously a popular place and filled with the breakfast crowd. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were not very clean and unable to cope with the onrush of traffic. Though they also have an AC Hall, it was closed, a minus in the blistering heat of June in India. If you are heading towards Gujarat from Mumbai or Pune then after crossing Mumbai this spot is a good place to take a halt for lunch/ dinner, snacks, and tea break. It has ample parking space, located on the highway, and a variety of food options are available here. There are multiple small restaurants present under one roof hence there are multiple food options available. However, the food quality and taste is just above average and it is worthy as well.
