Underwhelming Experience: Shree Datta Snacks in Manor Review I stopped by Shree Datta Snacks in Manor with moderate expectations, hoping to try some delicious and authentic local snacks. Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown, and I left feeling somewhat disappointed. We tried a few of their popular items, including the Misal Pav, Dosa, and Vada Pav. Unfortunately, none of these dishes really stood out in terms of taste or quality. The Misal Pav was lacking in flavor, the Dosa was overcooked, and the Vada Pav was just average. The prices were reasonable, but the portion sizes were smaller than expected. The location of Shree Datta Snacks is quite convenient, situated on the highway, making it a potential pit stop for travelers. However, with popular brands like McDonald's and other fast-food chains located just across the highway, the competition is fierce. It's surprising that Shree Datta Snacks doesn't try to differentiate itself more, given the proximity to these international brands. The ambiance of the place was also nothing to write home about. The seating area was cramped, and the decor was quite basic. The service was friendly, but the staff seemed overwhelmed, and it took a while to get our orders. Perhaps the biggest issue I had with Shree Datta Snacks was the lack of variety in their menu. For a snack shop, I expected to see a wider range of options, including some unique and innovative items. Unfortunately, the menu was quite limited, and I didn't see anything that really stood out. Rating: 2/5 Tips and Recommendations: • If you're in the area and craving something quick and easy, Shree Datta Snacks might be an okay option. • However, if you're looking for a truly exceptional snack experience, you might want to consider other options in the area, or even cross the highway to try some of the international brands. • The shop could benefit from expanding their menu and improving the quality of their snacks. • The ambiance and seating area could also use some upgrades to make the experience more comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, my experience at Shree Datta Snacks in Manor was just average, and I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it to others. Maybe they were just having an off day, but with so many other options available, including some big-name brands just across the highway, I wouldn't rush back to try their snacks again anytime soon.

Another spot of the shree datta chain on the NH48 stretch goin towards Bombay from Gujarat (at the manor junction). Please note there is one more joint by the same chain on the other side a few kms down the road if you are headed towards Gujarat. As with the other restaurants in the chain, this serves the usual Maharashtrian breakfast /lunch with the standard staples- vada pao, missal, sabudana vada etc. The vada pav never disappoints, freshly made, hot, crispy and the right flavour. The pav always soft. The missal is not so great but good none the less. The coffee and chai is good (there's bean coffee - very rare for a joint like this). This joint shares a common seating with a Bhagat Tarachand next door and has ample seating and parking available with a open seating. There is no table service, and you have to pay first and stand in line to get your order, though they tend to serve as quickly as they can. Deducting one star. As the space is right next to the start of the manor flyover, you might skip it if not careful. Definitely recommended for a break and hunger during your drive.

This is a popular eatery on the highway and we have been there twice. It is a good point to stop for vegetarian food en route Gholvad which annually hosts a Chikoo Festival. They have a parking area for cars which fills up during weekends. They also have clean washrooms. Some shops outside sell knick knacks and snack foods. Shree Dutta is famous for its Batata Wada and Wada Pav and you get those here. The restaurant is a self service one and you have to pay in advance. The menu is mainly Mahasratrian with mostly breakfast and snacks. They also serve south Indian foods. One challenge to be managed is having to go to different counters for different dishes. There are three counters. They have a counter for Kokum Juice at the front. That counter also sells Shree Dutt packed snacks. I tried the Batata Wada which is made flat and is not spicy. It is served with two wrt chutneys and a dry chutney. I also tried the upma which is served in limited quantity per order. Prices are slightly high. They serve hygienic food in an open, high ceilinged dining area.

I am giving 1 star to this once upon a time favourite food place of mine. The year was 1999 and I was doing bachelord of electronics engineering at PVPCOE at Sion evradnagar, we used to be a group of 5 2 boys 3 girls who used to drive down all the way to Panvel at palaspephata to enjoy the food at Shree Dutta snacks which 'was' finger licking good. Cut to year Dec 2024 , the thalipeeth lacked the punch of spices the same coconut chutney doesn't go with this. They should eat the Thalipeeth at Prakash hotel dadar west and definitely try the chutney served with it. Kothimbir Wadi which used to be there best food item now has been Fkd by making it into small strips earlier it used to be square shaped chunks whoever is the miserable genius behind this decision needs to learn the golden rule of food industry that if you have a winning recipe and product don't touch it or change it. Then we had misal now it's lacks the flavor maybe because now shree dutta snacks has become a factory like others. Then we had vada pav . This again was the best seller . The besan covering is not good anymore. Size has become small. Kande pohe was smelling weirdly of the sack in which the poha must have been stored. The coffee is the worst for 40rs so is there tea. Cheap nescafe sachets mixed with milk from machine which requires 0 skill to make. And yes I am very angry that the quality has gone down here as at every good place which turned into a factory with assembly line of food....

Shree Datta Snacks is a hidden gem for snack lovers! I recently visited this charming eatery and was blown away by their mouthwatering snacks.

The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to indulge in some delectable treats. As soon as I entered, the aroma of freshly prepared snacks filled the air, making my taste buds tingle with anticipation.
