Gadag Express — Restaurant in Maharashtra

A restaurant with a different look and feel. As u enter the place u get the feeling as if u entered a train boogie. Table service is good and quick. The place is neat too.

Negative points of this place: The south Indian dishes served here are "NOT Authentic". Every item here served here has a bit of sweetness in it. Even the idly and the chutney was sweet.

The worst part is: NO WASHROOM!!!! I asked for washroom, the owner/cashier/manager told that I'll have to wait till 11 a.m. Actually the adjacent building has McDonald's and other outlets, all those places start functioning at 11a.m.

Not suggested for anyone who knows the real taste of south Indian dishes..

Also, if the time is not 11a.m., pls...

I visited this place for breakfast. It was very dirty. The food tasted very bad. We ordered paper dosa, madala dosa, upma, sambhar vada, chai and coffee. Upma quantity was hopelessly very small. Chutni and upma was very cold like it seemed to be served directly from the refrigerator. Upma was little too sweet also. The coffee tasted so bland that it seemed like it was made out of milk powder and a lot of water 😭. Very bad experience. AC was also not working. Though there was no rush, service was very slow. I would recommend going to restaurant like SUDHA for authentic south...

It's a Fully air conditioned ❄️❄️Gadag Express Theme Train Boggie. Solapur's first thematic restaurant. USP: Authentic South Indian breakfast Chaat & Ragada Pani puri. Pav bhaji, dal khichdi are also good. Fully air conditioned ❄️⚡ Quick table service ✅

Con: Slight rush, but it's manageable because of fast service ✅
