Govindas Pure Veg Restaurant — Restaurant in Maharashtra

I recently visited this Govinda’s restaurant, but the experience was quite disappointing compared to the standard that Govinda’s is known for. The thali had very limited quantity of rice, the sabji lacked proper taste, and the dal too did not feel properly prepared. For a place that usually represents quality prasadam, the food did not match expectations.

Apart from the food, the staff interaction was not very warm or devotional. The spiritual and devotional ambience that one usually associates with Govinda’s was missing. Based on their attire and manner of communication, it seemed like the restaurant was being managed by outside people rather than devotees. This significantly reduces the unique charm and purpose of dining at Govinda’s.

Govinda’s has a strong reputation for serving sanctified food with care, devotion, and authenticity. If these aspects are not maintained, it can unfortunately spoil the name that devotees and guests value so much. I sincerely hope the management reviews the food quality, ensures sufficient quantity in thalis, and makes sure that the devotional atmosphere is preserved. They use a sauce for everything. They drenched the hakka noodles, fried rice,paneer manchuri in that super sweet sauce which ruined the taste of the food. The buttermilk was not good at all. It did not have any spices or salt for taste, it was curd mixed with water. The Lassi was basic and costly. Not worth it. Service is not good even though it is self service, they don't even pack the food for us. They gave us one polythene bag and to pack it ourselves. The mojito was just lime soda with a little mojito squash. They act like they have fallen in water. Too expensive. Not worth it. The curd rice is okay [because they don't use the sauce for it]. The atmosphere is okay and they don't use onion and garlic so it is good for the one's who are vegetarian and do not eat onion and garlic.
