A Convenient Stopover with Scenic Vibes Hotel Greenland, Igatpuri
On our way to Nashik, we stopped at Hotel Greenland mainly because we own an EV and needed to charge our car. Having a restaurant right there made it a convenient pit stop.
We tried a few dishes:
Onion Rava Masala Dosa – decent in taste, crispy enough, nothing extraordinary but satisfying.
Misal Pav – lighter on spice than expected; if you like fiery misal, you might find it a bit toned down.
Vada Plate – typical of Igatpuri, you can really taste the batter in the vada here, which gives it a local touch.
Tea – surprisingly nice, definitely worth ordering.
The highlight, however, is not just the food but the surroundings. The exterior of the restaurant is scenic, and during monsoon, the fog sets in beautifully making it a perfect backdrop for photos if you’re into travel photography.
Overall, Hotel Greenland is not about fine dining but about convenience, decent food, and a refreshing break on the highway. If you’re on a road trip especially with an EV it’s a practical and...

Breakfast: Food has a Nashik tinge to it and you have to try misal of your choice. I will try to justify my rating because of experience with South Indian food, it isn't as good as misal because of coconut chutney was stale at 12 pm and they don't take orders post that for the South Indian breakfast. The idli is very soft and vada is averagely crisp and sambhar is on the sweeter and watery side.
They know how to make coffee😋.
In my view idli vada are kind of overpriced and a bottle of water as well. You will find better food at lower rates than this one if you travel 5-10 Kms more. They charge you because the scale at they operate and location.
Also an update from my gf is that the washroom is clean. It totally depends on the cleaning cycles and when you use the washroom. Some might find clean and some might...
Read moreI'm visit this restaurant often during Sundays as I ride here and have breakfast here mostly. Till now I had no problems with their services but most recent visit have had completely changed my mind. Let me first talk about the food , it's delicious and prepared very nicely , no complaints on that. I had ordered a tea after having a Onion uttapam and later ordered a tea but had to wait for more than 20mins , till that time 4-5 teas were served on other tables which were obviously ordered after me. I had to finally call the bill and complained at the bill counter , that's when he got the beverage on my table. If the owner is reading this then let me tell you that even you serve good food, it's of no use when the service is like this. People won't visit again or...
