Tucked away near the sacred Ambabai Temple of Kolhapur, Kamat Hotel is a must-visit for any foodie. In search of home like food during my 3-day trip to Kolhapur, I stumbled upon this gem and ended up dining here all three days - yes, it's that good.

Their authentic cuisine with a home-like taste won my heart. The ambience may be simple but their service is excellent, and the staff are warm and welcoming. Be sure to try their signature dishes: Misal Pav and Kamat Special Veg Thali - absolutely amazing!

Very near to the temple, a moderate hotel but the service is very poor. Not authentic kolhapur taste.
