Mediocre Dining Experience at Hotel Maharaja

I recently dined at Hotel Maharaja, and I must say that my experience was quite mediocre. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it fell short in several aspects.

Food Quality: I ordered Paneer Pahadi and Gobi 65, but the Paneer Pahadi was a letdown. It didn't live up to my expectations in terms of taste and authenticity. The garlic naan was overly buttery, which made it a bit heavy. The jeera rice was average, nothing extraordinary, and the Dal Tadka was simply awful. It lacked the rich flavors and quality I anticipated.

Service: The service at Hotel Maharaja was far from professional. It had a somewhat rustic feel, which might work for some, but it did not provide the level of service I expected. The lack of professionalism affected the overall dining experience negatively.

In summary, my visit to Hotel Maharaja left much to be desired. The food was not up to par, with the Paneer Pahadi and Dal Tadka being major disappointments. I must say ambiance is cool else everything is below average. I visited this place last week and my experience with their food is worst, firstly food delivery is too late and taste of food you can guess with its appearance and presentation, eg: I had ordered their special paneer sabzi( I don’t have the pic) is nearly average and quantity is very less and dal makhni had no taste so please guys never order it. Cherry on the cake was sweet dish which was nothing, I had ordered rasamalai ( which is literally watery and joke part was rasmalai with no malai🤣🤣 and faluda icecream can u guys guess had no faluda in it and cost was so high.. In nutshell, guys never ever try this place.I will give no star if that option is there. So don’t waste your money and time...

Writing a new review after 1.5 years as I had highly disappointing experiences twice. The food quality is pathetic. They served us stale paneer which had holes like Cheese has which any sane normal person would agree is stale, but the owner’s wife started arguing.

The fried rice was also very cold.

And when we complained about this, we had already paid our bill but still they sent a waiter behind us on the street to confirm if we paid. A clear attempt at humiliation only because we stated that what we ordered we didn’t get that in a healthy state.

There should be a raid of FSSAI on this restaurant. I am sure they’ll find a lot of stuff which would be stale and not fit for consumption.
