When you are on a long trip with family visiting multiple locations, one of the main things you need to be cautious about is the food. On many occasions, the journey gets terrifying due to health issues resulting from change in food.
But if you are visiting Mahabaleshwar, you can take this concern totally off your mind. Hotel Savera located close to Mahabaleshwar temple is more like Home than a Hotel.
Our family of 7 members during our recent visit to Mahabaleshwar (M'shwar) stayed in Hotel Savera for 3 days (had pre-booked our stay here). After having traveled overnight by train from Shirdi to Satara and taking a bus from Satara, we reached M'shwar at around 11am. The minute we landed in M'shwar, I got a pleasant call from Mr. Abhijeet enquiring our whereabouts. From that moment till the last minute of our stay, we never felt away from home.
From arranging Taxi to pick us up from Bus station, welcoming us to their hotel (cum home), guiding us on places to visit, booking cabs for sightseeing, Mr. Abhijeet took great care of us. He is ever smiling and never feels tired of attending to the requirements of guests.
Hotel rooms are luxurious and kept very tidy. Bed, blankets, linen are spick and span. Additional blankets were stacked up in cupboards even without asking.
Coming to food - Abhijeet's family members i.e Mother, Wife and Abhijeet himself are chefs in the restaurant who prepare homely and tasty food. Their Aloo and Methi paratha's, Misal pav, Poori bhaji, Dal khichdi are very appetizing. Additional mention has to be made about Abhijeet's elderly father, who even at this age is enthusiastic in talking to the guests and taking care of them as members of his house. Special thanks to Anjali, who doubles up as a great support both at the Restaurant and in maintaining the guest rooms spick and span.
Only thing that we felt needs to improve is the time taken to serve food. The delay is understood due to the fact that food is personally prepared based on order and shortage of staff to cater to whopping demands.
Overall, My entire family along with my children enjoyed the stay at Savera. We thank Abhijeet & his family for the hospitality and making the stay at Mahabaleshwar a...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am actually late for this feedback/ review and I am genuinely sorry for this. Because it is much deserved review for Hotel Savera.
So this review goes for Abhijieet sir, his family and staff. Right from booking the hotel, I felt how much he values his clients! It was hassle free booking only through simple phone call. One day prior when I called him to confirm the bookings, he mentioned, you leave everything on us, you just concentrate on enjoying the trip! It made me felt so relaxed! When we went there, his Father welcomed us with a kind smile and asked us how are we! It was such a heart warming welcome! During my stay, he literally took care of everything. Right from which places we should go and visit, the cab booking, asking us about dinner like our family members ask us! Lol
Being native, he has good knowledge about the place, he guided us for hidden spots in Tapola, Mahabaleshwar and Pachgani.
Talking about hotel service, cleanness, providing towels, soaps, food, extra bedding, everything is upto the mark.
Money transactions are also very smooth.
The stay was totally hassel free! In fact we gelled up with the whole family, and with staff members too!
I am a firm believer we do get things same almost at every hotel, what matters is the service! And Mr. Abhijeet and his family does this whole heartedly!
Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! I am definitely coming back soon! Its a permanent stay location when we are in...
