Hotel Swaraj Family Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Maharashtra

The current revenge travel or everyone is bored and want to travel this is causing high rush on weekends at tourist locations and therefore at nearby restaurants it's too crowded. This is causing waiting at restaurant and even if you get the seats for dining the service is pretty late. Therefore you need to keep this in mind. Before heading towards any restaurant near to tourist locations on weekend. The restaurant has 3 sections, one non AC, one AC and another Bar. The restaurant is decent but as it was crowded and thennon AC and AC sections were occupied, families were seating in bar section which is totally BIG NO. How can management allow kids with family seat in a bar where rest of the visitors are taking alcohol. The food quality is good but due to rush you are not able to enjoy the food. Overall if you want a descent meal with peaceful ambience than visit on weekdays and you might like this restaurant and the meals...

I had my couple of beers and lunch here, in their beer bar and permit room on first floor. Service is not upto standard. Waiters are so-so, not much in the hospitality industry and less experienced. Not cutlery knife was available when I asked for it. Price is also not affordable and the chicken biryani not upto the biryani class. Just been there,to be blunt is for beer in the simmering heat outside. Don't know the quality of restaurant on the ground floor, facing the Chowk Phata. Can be visited once. Price is also on the high side considering the standard. Frankly it's my opinion only. Not at all crowded enen during lunch hours. I was the only guy sitting there. Three stars is more than satisfactory for Swaraj...

Food: We ordered below dishes, Masala papad - tomato on papad was stinking as if it was cut 2 days before

Fresh lime soda - the lemon juice was smelling as if the they have used staled lemons

Paneer starter ordered was served where paneer was tasting like rubber

Chicken in starter felt like it wasn't fresh

Plain roti was made from maida and atta when we asked to serve plain atta roti they denied

Mutton masala was good, chicken lollypop and chicken handi was good

Dal khichdi had so many chillis, we felt chef took out his grudge of our complaints

Service: Service was also not good we sat in ac 1st floor we have to go out repeatedly and call the captain. Spoons kept on tables were not...
